Upper Berkeley Hotel

Very clean and comfortable. Great location. The shower was the best. The staff member was super helpful and kind. I would definitly stay here again.

The room was perfect for a quick stay and in the perfect location for trains and shopping. The room I had probably needs a bit of a touch up with paint peeling. The self check in and check out was great and very easy to use. Over all for the price and location I can over look these blemishes in the paint. If I come back to London I hope there is a room free.

Good: To my surprise, the room came with a small heater and a mini-fridge (plus what looked like a portable air conditioner, though I didn't use it)—amenities even some "proper" hotels don't always offer. The en-suite bathroom was also very clean. Bad: Unfortunately, the washing machines on the property were out of order during my entire stay. The room itself could use a minor refurbishment as the walls look a bit worn. Overall, I’d say it’s a pretty good deal.

Entry and room key process was fine There were signs of water leaks in room 4 and crumbling plaster near the window - so needs a bit of a tidy up Slept well and shower was good so the points wouldn’t stop me returning 30m walk to the Royal Albert Hall which was good

Clean & good size room. Comfy bed. Took a couple of attempts to use the check in machine, had difficulty scanning my id. Room was easy to find once checked in. Lots of emails received prior to check in with various bits of information, would've been a lot better (& saved a lot of time finding the email with the door code) if only one email sent with all information needed. Great location, close to tube station. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is fine it’s clean enough but quite small The air con didn’t really work And a day and a half left into our stay the shower would only put out cold water The hotel over all was fine

Easy check in. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Quiet and good location

Room was poor. Tv has no remote control so couldnt use. Bathroom comically small. How they have signed that off I never know. There would be no way I could have fit on the toilet and just about fit in the shower. Im 6f, 13 stone so not a man mountain. Everything a bit grimy. They get a generous 2 stars because the check in guy on the phone was extremely helpful.

Room was bright, immaculate and had tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer and even an iron and ironing board. Ability to add heat or cool the room was good and lighting options were great. Had one issue with key card, called the number and someone came very quickly to resolve the issue. A fantastic find for a London get away.

Room was okay. Not spotless but pretty clean, room was well equipped as well. Check in process was confusing, would be much better to receive one email with all of the information up front instead of various emails with different pieces of information. Thankful for the employee who happened to be on property and was extremely helpful as using the contact number was completely unhelpful and extremely delayed. Amazing location but definitely a “budget hotel”. Good if your expectations are managed.

Rooms were clean and nicely arranged, staff was friendly and responsive to any messages I had sent and requests I had for necessities in the room. I’d stay here again!

This hotel was ok. It met our most basic needs, but was not a place to seek comfort or relaxation. Overpriced for what it is, very small room and bathroom. It felt more like an AirBnB than a hotel since no staff is onsite. The check-in system was challenging and we saw many others struggle with it. We had some security concerns because the front door was often not latched and seemingly left open all day and night. The main window in the bedroom was very old, drafty and without a lock that could allow someone to open from the outside. Rating 6/10 despite there not being heat when we checked in due to a mechanical problem, which was very disappointing after a long trip in a cold London winter day, but the staff worked quickly to resolve it. The room was fairly recently remodeled, and location was great.

Could hear every noise from guest’s next door and opposite , fire doors inadequate as big gaps underneath and only closed when pulled closed , main door was constantly left open as it only closed when pulled .
