Lovely warm welcome from host, making everything very convenient. Room was very clean and tidy, and also noticed the bedding had a lovely floral smell. Morning breakfast time was a bit limited, but I guess it’s not a hotel. Food itself was lovely though and freshly prepared. Lovely host and will definitely stay again when in the area.

I felt unwelcome Owner did not tell me her name. I had to ask her She handed me keys, showed me to room, told me when breakfast would be and disappeared. She said nothing about wifi. Nothing about bowls/food for dog. Nothing about the 'bar'. That i could use that room. I had to go in search of her about wifi. Told me printed on a stone coaster. I found the coaster. no network under this name. Went in search of owner again She then told me it was the password. I was insulted when she told me that no one else had issues with the wifi. How was i to know the password was printed on a coadter? She provided no instructions about anything. She also commented upon my arrival that i was the one who had written and asked her how I would get in, as if i'm stupid. I had to defend my request by telling her that i had stayed at a guesthouse with no one on site. Had to call and arrange time in advance. The room was hot. Opening windows allowed all the traffic noise in No fan. Didnt ask as i felt i would be a nuisance. Shower was horrendous. Went from scalding to cold whether or not I tried to set it. Pressure low. I settled for a cold shower. I didnt pay 100 plus for such an indifferent, disinterested treatment.

We love this place to stay, my late Uncle lived in Dymchurch for many years so we visit here every year to remember him. I first went on the railway as a boy in the 1960’s and still pay a visit when I’m down, its a magical place.

Really peaceful area, with the beach practically across the road and an easy 5min walk into the little town of dymchurch. The Host was very accomodating and provided a lovely cooked breakfast, with toast and cereal too. Our room was lovely, very clean and had everything you needed for a stay, even some toiletries in the en suite bathroom! Would definitely recommend a stay here.
