All staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and spacious. Bed was large, lovely clean, crisp bedding, thick duvet, fluffy pillows. Bathroom was large and clean, good shower over bath.

Fabulous break in a charming pub with rooms. The staff did everything to make our stay special. Laura was amazing at breakfast and the food was fantastic. We will definately be back.

We only had one night at the Wheatsheaf, as we were travelling around. It is very close to Chatsworth, was comfortable, and served excellent food. Our host was very welcoming

We had a lovely stay at the Wheatsheaf Baslow no toilet brush, no towel rail we had to ask for clean towels but they never arrived, meals were very good and staff were very efficient.

We enjoyed our stay for two nights in a great village close to everything in the Peak District. Breakfast is excellent and we enjoyed one dinner onsite as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, good size room, bathroom smaller just a good shower, not bath, but ok and windowsill meant you had room to store toiletries.
Room next to road but no noise with double glazing.
3 choices of breakfast depending on how hungry you were.
Ideal for Chatsworth, go across the road & you are able to get in the grounds & take a walk across to the house.

Beautiful historic setting, great food, indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking. It's at the village center on the main road, so you can hear a bit of traffic if the windows are open
