We were kindly allowed to check in a bit earlier as our room was ready. The room was clean and comfortable. Room temperature was good and it was fairly quiet for a city. At check in and check out the staff were friendly and courteous.

Room was clean but needed a bit of renovating. Staff at bar said said you check in by a tablet the check in process was simple on the tablet and it gave us a room number the challange was where was the room we eneded up going through a door that had rooms in to find that was corridor C not J that smelt of weed we then worked out there was multiple corridors with different letter but non sign posted clearly. When we go to J no elevator and we were on floor 4 it was lucky we were able bodied otherwise we had no one to speak to about it. On our return from the night out we wondered if we could have a drink at the bar but the staff just looked at us and went into the back so we decided to just go bed Room was a lounge and bedroom no tv in bedroom and it was roasting hot but in fairness the room had fans in which we used to cool it down. The floors were all stained and the colour of the walls were a smokers yellow which was not very inviting. We had a full kitchen in the room which was a suprise but the plates were to big for the cupboard so the doors wouldnt close. We were not sure if we had breakfast included or not as we did filter on breakfast but we ended up just leaving as no one to ask. Overall for the price the service really did let it down and its a good central location but I dont think we will stay there again as there is better customer focused hotels for the same or cheaper price point

The property was really well located in the centre of town and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. There was an issue with the lift and so we were offered alternative accommodations, however we stuck with original apartment, and were given help to carry our luggage to the top floor. The reason for the lower score is that the apartment was very, very warm and so we had to open all the windows, but it was very noisy outside until 5.30am.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Whitworth Locke! Fantastic location, really friendly staff, unique rooms, lots of amenities. If you need anything, you can send a message to the hotel through WhatsApp, which was very convenient. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Manchester.

Very smart, clean and quiet room. The bed was comfortable. There was a lovely hot and powerful walk in shower. For a Locke hotel there was pretty good storage. Despite lots of stylish lighting it was all a bit dim. The wooden floor was actually so shiny it was slippery!

Self check-in was nice and smooth. The lift was out of service which was typical because our room ended up being on the 5th floor (just our luck!) Room was nice and modern offering L-shaped open plan bedroom to kitchen/dining space, stairs leading to a separate bathroom which added character. Cleanliness was spot on with no issues. After check-out, we went to the cafe for a quick coffee which was nice where we were served by very pleasant staff.
