Wildhive Callow Hall was a fantastic place to stay with our family on our last night in the UK, and it was one of our favorite hotels of 5 on a 2 week stay in the UK! Situated in the Peak District, the location and property was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the main building, but walked around to the tree houses, which would be so fun and nice with a group for a longer stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when my father-in-law requested an extra bed sheet, and when we asked to get into their restaurant at the last minute, they moved some things around to accommodate us. The food was a definite highlight - dinner was delicious and breakfast was great the next morning - lots of options presented in a beautiful room and very good food! The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the property is so beautiful. No complaints at all for this lovely hotel. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay overall - beautiful hotel interior design, especially the stunning modern glass restaurant extension. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Our treehouse was cute but cramped if you can’t use the large terrace in bad weather- a larger bathroom with a bathtub would have been welcome after a long winter walk. Restaurant dinner was nice but bland for our taste as we prefer Middle Eastern/Asian spicy food options. Didn’t have breakfast as it was an extra charge and we weren’t keen on the menu - prefer to choose from a breakfast buffet. Would recommend for a one-night stay in the beautiful Peak District.

Not worth the money. Buzzing sound - possibly air conditioning or kitchen fans? Room was too small for 2 people, bed was too high. Beautiful setting

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Love the concept & green initiatives in place. Found the service from reception to be lacking and service in the restaurant became painfully slow after mains, which was disappointing especially given the price point.

We had such a lovely, relaxing trip. We stayed in a room in the main house, which was beautiful, with fabulous views of the countryside. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and made to feel welcome. The fire was roaring in the reception area and the whole ambience was cosy and inviting. We enjoyed walks through the woodland and gardens. The food in the restaurant is fabulous, so I would definitely recommend booking that if you are stopping at the hotel.

My wife and I spent an idyllic couple of nights in a 'lovely' double (Room 16 - GF) and couldn't have been more comfortable there. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and made us feel welcome in every setting within the hotel. The property is immaculately maintained, and delivered just what we needed for our mini-break. Having bike hire for free was an added bonus, with the local Tissington Trail giving me a perfect way to spend a morning whilst my wife got a massage treatment. The only small knock would be the pricing of breakfast. The full breakfast was actually reasonably priced compared to much worse offerings we've had from budget hotels, but we felt it a bit much to pay £9 for a very small bowl of overnight oats and £8 for granola. With the rooms already being pretty pricey, it would have been nice to get the contintental style options included and only pay a supplement for a cooked/hot breakfast. That small gripe wouldn't be enough to stop us returning for another stay, and we would recommend the hotel to anybody looking for a luxurious couples break.
