I’m d highly recommended. I took my son for 2 nights & we had a twin room. Has so many positives for the price, it’s actually amazing value for money. My only negative is that the housekeeper mustn’t of looked inside the kettle because it wasn’t pleasant and needs replacing. But I just used the kitchen kettle for my morning coffees.

Great place to stay if you'd like to have kitchen access. Fridge, Kettle, Cups, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk provided. Bed was VERY comfortable. Bedding all clean. TV is streaming only - no regular TV channels. Could adjust the room temperature via the radiator dial. The shower is in the room, not in a separate bathroom. It didn't bother me, but it's unusual. It's not a luxurious place to stay, but it's clean, comfortable and affordable in this expensive area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to drop my suitcases off early in the morning of my check in. There is space to park directly in the grounds of the hotel.

It looks scary from the road. You didn't post any pictures of that angle Hotels.com. We didn't even go inside. Very little parking is available. Not able to cancel, you can keep my money.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a lockable door. It even had a fridge, a luxury absent from hotel rooms costing two or three times as much. The bathroom arrangements were unusual, with the loo in a tiny cupboard, and the basin and shower cubicle at the end of the bed. There was nowhere to hang a damp towel, and I was slightly unnerved by exposed wiring on a broken extractor fan switch just above the shower door. It's not the Ritz but I've stayed in worse places, and for £45 a night including parking a stone's throw from Windsor and Bray, you pay for what you get!

The room doesn't look like the photos; it's dirty and old. I've never seen the shower and toilet in the same space without dividers, and the sink outside the bathroom. In short, the hotel room is NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID FOR IT, IT’S a SCAM in my opinion.

No method of paying apart from a WhatsApp link to an Indian mobile …very dubious. Bedroom smelt strongly of a weird air freshener. Room not as shown in pictures. No shower in the room but a shared one up the hallway. This was grubby and empty toiletry bottles littered around. Again a very stained dirty carpet. My wife refused to use it. Checked in to another hotel for the remainder of our 3 night booking.

You can hear everything from outside, next room, boiler, toilet flush, opening door, key lock.. literally everything. Went out for dinner came back and called the number at the door because I didn't get any message about the code. Whoever answered the phone didn't sound happy and kept talking about I should have received a message with the code. I even checked again - nope. I did not get any code. He kept telling me I should have checked my message but I asked the code as I was at the door literally. Very impolite and ruined the rest of stay. It was just super basic and not really worth for money.

I’ll start with the good: check in was easy and the communication by staff was great. The staff was very friendly, gave us an extra half hour to check out, and stored our luggage for us. The not so great: This property did not look like the photos on the web. It’s quite rundown and shabby. Our sheets had stains and while the listing promised a “private bathroom,” we had to share one across the hallway with other guests. I wouldn’t stay there again, but if you’re on a budget and can live with a little schmutz, you might be OK.

When I booked the room, my intention was to pay at the lodge. They didn't take a credit card but wanted me to log into their wifi and transfer the money from my account to theirs. I ended up paying with cash, though I needed that cash to give to a friend for football tickets. The room was clean and comfortable but no TV. Well there was a TV set but no channels to watch. A note in the room said to push either the youtube or netflix button on the remote. There was no Netflix button however. Breakfast was self serve, meaning you go in one cabinet for bread for toast, another for plates, fill a kettle, take out teabags, etc. I didn't mind, it's just that this was a first for me and i average about 30 days a year in hotels.

Very clean, safe, 22 min walk to train station, easy check-in, they send you a one time code via e-mail, to enter and get your room key at the reception, easier check out, just to drop off the key in a box, mini fridge in room, private WC in room, shared shower, which I saw always available, cookies, 2 water bottles, liquid and mini bar hand soaps. Two water faucets, you need to decide to wash your hands, face and mouth with very hot or very cold water. Nothing in between. No sheet to cover, only a very small comforter, like children’s size. No thermostat in my room, temperature just little colder than my liking. I got an e-mail: “The kitchen is set up for guests to use , feel free to use it , just please make sure it is clean and tidy ready for the next person to use. There is yogurt, juice, eggs and milk in the fridge” Upon check-in around 6pm I entered the kitchen to cook eggs, but someone came and didn’t let me, saying that it was for the morning. I checked-out at 10 AM, but they let me park my car until the afternoon that I came back from London.
