Arriving in a foreign country can be quite stressful. The staff here were very welcoming and helpful which immediately took that stress away. The building was beautiful with a cool lift and pretty walkway, location was close to lots of food and shopping, and the breakfast??? Please, please, treat yourself and purchase the breakfast during your stay. I promise you won't regret it. HUNDREDS of different things to choose from including a juice bar, fresh fruit, omelet and waffel bar, cheeses, meats, pastries (oh gosh the pastries!!). I have traveled all over the world and this is the best breakfast I've ever had the opportunity to experience in a hotel. The hotel is priced appropriately and not far from the airport (maybe 20 minutes by taxi) and not far from the cruise port (maybe 10 minutes). This should be your first choice in hotels!!

Excellent property and stay, in a building with alot of history and comfort. Excellent location to the center and cathedral and waterfront being a short walk away, next to the tram stops as well for easy access. Room itself was soundproof and comfortabke, a good bed and bathroom. Would highly recommend

We were in a twin room with views over the city, at the front of the hotel. Room was large and spacious. We had paid more for the Grande Twin room. The beds were comfortable and the room tidied every day. The only thing they didn’t do, was vacuum the room, but generally it was okay. The only issue, was a lack of draws. The space was there, but no draw units were in the room. This meant clothing had to be piled up in the bottom of the wardrobe. I found the room very quiet and no problem with noise. The air conditioning was very poor, so we just asked for a fan. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and good quality. The only problem was getting a table, as whatever time you went down, the breakfast room was always full and space limited. They also had low hanging lights, in the breakfast section, that I kept banging my head on, when getting up from the table. I am only 5 feet 4 inches tall, so not very tall. Overall, it was a nice, friendly hotel. A few niggles, but nothing major. It was also very central, a few minutes walk from the railway station and literally right opposite the department store Stockmans. I would probably stay there again, if in Helsinki.

Great hotel! 5 mins from main station and walkable to everything! I never took another train after I arrived. Nice to be central so I could come back for mid day breaks. Great view from my room. Clean and very nice accommodation. The breakfast was also lovely, so huge and many options. Quiet rooms. Staff was great. Elevators quick. I highly recommend this stay and so happy I chose this stay!

The location was great. Check in staff felt a little judgmental. The main problem was that the toilet had issues, the shower kept flooding up the toilet floor. The coffee powder was also not topped up on the 2nd day of stay. Bathroom slippers had to be requested for as well.

Room was nice it was clean but there was an electrical issue that meant the emergency loghting kept flashing on all night which was in fairness VERY bright should there have been an emergency - its likely you would need retena repair surgery after its guided you to your safety That being said they did offer to change rooms however for the last 6 hours of being there it seemed a tad pointless but sadly for a nice hotel it did let it down a little Its super central and worth booking with friendly staff Its not cheap so im disappointed they didnt offer something like a complimentary breakfast for the issues but as i say - not the end of the world, although it did seem like it when the light came on
