The hotel is amazing, the location is key, ski-in-and-out. Right next to Ruka Ski Resort Gondola. The room assigned to me was clean, very charming and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, nice winter blankets, and soft pillows. Breakfast was included and it is a massive buffet with healthy options. I loved the food and the service. There are restaurants, shopping stores, and tour agencies all within walking distance. Also the bus stop to the airport is a 4 minute walk. I would come back to this hotel and location big time. Finland is a dream!!

Excellent hotel, one of the best locations for the Ruka! Breakfast good but not too fancy, can be improved, the room is not cleaned, but mopped slightly. Maybe not perfect, but definitely worth the value

Good location in the heart of Ruka. I had a renovated room which added an extra level of comfort even though it wasn’t the most spacious room I’ve been in. The service at the reception was very polite and customer orientated.

The service was superb! We were hiking nearby and had some special needs regarding our equipment. The staff made sure all our needs were met, and beyond. The hotel had saunas that we could use free of charge which was a pleasant surprise to us. Also the breakfast was amazing, including a large selection of gluten free options.

Hotel has an old side and a new side. New side is decent. Old side is a bit shabby, floors creak and there was no AC in my room. Minibar was empty. Soundproof was so-so. Still doable. Very limited vegan breakfast options if you wish to have something else than lettuce and fruits for breakfast.

Stayed for one night after a long hike in the region. Hotel was clean and comfortable, and staff friendly. Would be nice to have some selection in pillows. I found the one provided a bit hard and high.

We have booked the apartments and it’s located in a location away from the main building. It’s a short distance to be fair but with the heavy snow and slippery slopes, it is almost impossible to bring our heavy luggages there on our own. There is no luggages delivery services but after much pleading, the hotel finally agreed to help. I hope the hotel can be mindful that foreign tourists don’t drive and we usually arrive with big luggages for a long journey to Finland. It would be better to offer services when needed. The apartment is authentic Finnish style and we love the loft. Beautiful scenery to the pines and slopes. Overall a pleasant and great stay. The location is near to good restaurants such as the Pizzaria Ruka.
