For the price, the suite was very small. Only bathroom amenities are hand and body soap. But the real issue was that the room was very hot and we could not control the air conditioning. They control the temperature down in the hotel office. It was 30 C in Paris and this made the room unbearable. For what we paid per might, I would expect to have good air conditioning.

The location is great in heart of Paris, the building status is fair giving being an old Parisian building. The bath was too short for me. Since they tried to include a bathtub, it reduces available hight. So when you take a shower you should perform a Japanese bow!! Two items that concern me. First, I tried to contact their reception when I was in the city to check something with them and I end up falling in an endless looping of answering machine and eventually no response!!! Secondly, they tried to give us the room sooner which was nice but by mistake they give us incorrect room key!! Thanks GOD the guest was not in the room. Imagine you entered and see somebody else's stuff is in the room ... This is a sign of poor management in general.

Friendly and responsive staff Room temperature can only be reset by staff. Shampoo is not provided in room, but can be requested.

Pros: Within 500m or less are department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, A train station (to La Vallee Outlet), famous Cedric Grolet Opera and Palais Garnier are within 280m walk. Staff were friendly and responsive. Room was clean. View from balcony was great. Cons: Bathtub wasn’t drained

For its location, this place is very appropriately priced and very good set up for a wonderful stay in Paris. Could it have been a 5-star hotel, No, but it was a wonderful place to stay in the best part of Paris. So stay here, buy some espresso pods from the Illy coffee store around the corner and some flowers at the Madeleine flower shops to make it your short term home.

The property is well situated minutes from the Opera House, Galaries Lafayette, Madeleine, Place de Concord, many Cafes, Brasseries and hop-on-hop-off bus stop. hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Room was small but had everything we needed and felts like our own little place in Paris. Two suggestions and points of weakness. 1. The bed which was originally combined to be one queen, and at our request, divided into two singles (great), kept sliding on the floor and we would constantly have to move it into place. Recommendation: apply anti-slip pads to the feet of the beds. 2. If you stay for less than one (1) week, noone cleans your room and you do not get new towels. If you stay for over 7 days, the ladies will come to clean your room and provide new towels. Main focus being on the towels, we certainly could have used new towels every 2-3 days. Lots of walking, sweating and showing. New towels would have been much nicer. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay, would definitely return and would absolutely recommend to others.

Hotel is in exelent location, near opera, close to everything. Clean, some rooms need updates, like resurfacing hardwood floors,etc. Front desk people were nice, Sirak was very helpful. They have good breakfast.
