Apostrophe Hotel

I like to underline the kindness and warm attention from the staff, in particular Gino and Sohrab. It is very very special and appreciated. Thank you again.The location is near by the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg (5 mns walking distance) with multiple dining opinions closed by and access to subway.

While the rooms are quite artistically designed, they are not in good repair. Our room had a questionably-mounted TV, the shower handle repeatedly popped off the hose it was attached to for the bathtub, and the battery for the door lock failed - not just locking us out for an extended period of time while the staff tried to figure out the problem, but also causing the housekeeping to skip our room (and presumably not reporting the problem themselves). Note that the bathtub rooms do NOT include a shower curtain, so you will be spraying off in the tub and not able to get a "proper" standing shower. The desk staff was very good though.

Lovely little hotel in a great area with exceptional staff. The beds were very comfortable and the room quiet. The shower itself was amazing (six body jets, a handheld shower head and rain shower) it just needed a little TLC. But the staff cleaned our room every day, replenished the coffee pods and switched out the towels too. I loved that it was on a quiet side street but very convenient to the hustle and bustle of Paris. I would stay again!

The Apostrophe is a small but mighty place to stay. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon was efficient. There is a good bar fridge in the room. While it was a small room, there was a very good use of space, so it didn’t feel small. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value for money, and very conveniently located.

The hotel staff are exceedingly helpful and nice. The room was very clean, and the neighborhood is great. However, I was given a room next to the lobby check-in area, the only room in that small space and on the ground floor, which made it very noisy. It also felt less private than I would have liked. If booking, highly suggest requesting not to have the ground floor room.

The staff was very polite and my room was very comfortable!

We had a lovely 10 night stay at boutique hotel Apostrophe. With only 16 rooms, each room has a different theme. Our room was themed "Spectacle" (the show), which was appropriate for us as we attend many spectacles back in the U.S. and in Paris. We had 3 different Metro stations near the hotel, all within walking distance, many boulangeries, brasseries and restaurants to choose from as well. We most enjoyed our nightly conversations with concierge, Geno, recounting our daily travels and providing recommendations for food, places to see and his assistance with our français. We loved our stay and will return on our next trip to Paris. If you are looking for a quiet, smaller hotel, with many things to do around the area, definitely consider Apostrophe!

The property was fine and average for Paris. It was totally clean and charming, but small. What irritated us was the shower; it was almost useless. It was a tub with no curtain or door set against one wall, about 7 feet from the bed (it’s a small room). There was no shower mount, so taking a shower means standing naked and wet in the room where your partner is doing whatever they are doing, holding the shower with one hand while you try and wash your hair with the other without hosing down the entire room if you rotate the shower head in the wrong direction. Which was impossible. If you only want baths, go for it- there were bubbles and disco lights in the bath, which I guess is where they spent their shower curtain budget. This was, to be fair, not the same in all rooms (this was the Alphabet suite). My parents room had a normal but small shower. All in all, the hotel is good, but don’t get the alphabet suite if you want to get up and take a shower in the morning.

Our stay at Hotel Apostrophe went very well . Great front desk staff. Room a little tight but bed comfortable, clean, convenient location. We only had breakfast once and I know French eat only bread / croissants and coffee but we’d have appreciated some cheese or other protein.

This hotel is a gem in the middle of Paris. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was great. It’s in an area where there are lots of restaurants that are close and there is a market 2 blocks away. It’s a short taxi ride to all of the main attractions. I’m staying here the next time I come to Paris.

We stayed at Apostrophe Hotel for a week during the olympics; the hotel is located in a fantastic neighbourhood, close to 4 transportation lines so it was very easy to get around the city. Upon check-in, the receptionist gave us a map and showed us the easiest way to get to the Paris points of interest which was very helpful. Our room is clean overall however we did find some hairs under the covers our first night. We did not complain because the sheets were clean every night thereafter. There is a large bathtub in the room with us and a separate room with the toilet. Note: there is no shower. This was a surprise to us as we had to take a bath everyday, there is a shower head attached to the bath tub but nowhere to hang it for a shower (and no curtain to prevent the water from splashing out into the bedroom area). The tub fills slowly so we had to factor in an extra 20 minutes per person’s regular morning routine. Keep this in mind if you’re normally a shower person as we did find it to be an inconvenience. Note 2: this is a boutique hotel and you are required to leave your key at the front desk each time you leave. This was not a major hindrance however sometimes when we return to the hotel we found ourselves waiting 10-20 minutes just to pick up the key because the receptionist was busy with other guests. Overall our stay was very pleasant and outside of the no standing shower we would stay again!

The hotel is very well located for cafés, restaurants and both the Metro and RER. The staff are a credit to the hotel and the room are kept spotless.

This property was wonderful. Clean, secure, comfortable. In the middle of the action on a quiet side street. But what made it outstanding was the staff. They were kind and helpful. Gino made sure my breakfast was ready first thing as I’m an early riser. It was prepared with care and a smile. A fabulous thing at the crack of dawn! I highly recommend staying here. Thank you staff at the Apostrophe!
