5 min drive to ferry terminal And plenty of parking.
Ordered pizzas for evening meal which were delicious.

Super comfy beds and great black out curtains-we slept amazingly! The check in process was very clever and there was even somewhere to store our bicycles. Thank you.

The room was fine though it would have been nice to have had a kettle with teas and coffees. The breakfast was generous. The area is pleasant enough. It is a traveller's hotel but is as best as you can expect.

We requested at reception that a taxi be ordered for us to take us to the port this morning. The taxi was ordered from Caen (15 miles away and there already was 32 euro on the meter!). We did not accept and were left with no option but to walk to the port. We are aged 77 & 78 years!.

B&B Hotel Ouistreham. I booked with hotel .com. when you get to the hotel,you enter your booking code on the panel . Then follow the directions. For me it didn't work, press buttons nice lady goes over details and gives me correct code. Nothing. Press buttons again, gentleman answered goes through it all again. No good calls manger goes through detail and paid at desk 😔 after a four hour drive, didn't enjoy this. I was told hotel.con should have forwarded the right code. B+B Ouistreham is clean and basic with air conditioning rooms.

I was given the wrong code to enter the hotel and so I had to contact via the key pad. The person on the other end was abrupt, I don't think I was the first. It took me, at 22h30, having just got off the boat, half an hour to get from arriving at the hotel door, getting the correct code, to my room.
I was charged for two breakfasts but the desk soon corrected that. Breakfast was meagre - I wouldn't recommend it!
The hotel was noisy both inside and out. There were a lot of French and Spanish motor bikers staying.
I've stayed here before and it has always been OK - not this time!!
