Central location. Good right off the street parking easily found right in front of the hotel. Great staff. 10 minute walk to town center with scenic views of the castle and river Loire along the way. Great room with river views. Would highly recommend especially for the price. Nice tv and great air conditioner. I think as very pleased.

The hotel was nice, the a/c was on a timer, so it went off unexpectedly. They did turn it back on, but it was a very hot weekend and took a long time to cool the room. Parking was easy and free on the street. The water dispenser was great. Coralline was the best and gave many excellent recommendations.The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, my dog was welcome and there is a small park close by for walks.
It is a beautiful town! The bakery down the street (2 blocks) has the BEST chocolate croissants!

its a hotel i have used many times , everybody is helpful and pleasant , it is situated on an island connected by a bridge over the River Loire , Saumur is 10 minutes walk over the bridge ,where you are straight into the brasseries shops and on Saturdays their large market

We stayed for 1 night to break up our long drive home. Reception staff were polite and welcoming. Wore masks once inside hotel. Room was basic but clean , it had a comfy double bed and pillows were good. Room had a wardrobe with hangers and facilities for tea and coffee making. There was also a fridge / mini bar with a few cold drinks and snacks available.Bathroom was small but adequate it had a hairdryer, bath and over bath shower. It had french doors and juliette balcony that over looked the river. Room also had air conditioning. We were walking distance of the town that had a nice atmosphere and plenty of bars and restaurants. Felt very comfortable here in the midst of coronavirus high majority of people wore masks

The hotel was closed and I had to wait for 30 minutes in front of the door for someone to arrive, although I had arrived 1 hour before reception closing.
The next morning I had to wait for another 30 minutes in order to get breakfast because nobody was there.
Both would not be acceptable in a private hotel but in a Best Western this is completely not understandable. Unprofessional even if this stay was outside season - rather keep your hotel closed then.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Good reception. The only problem was the parking situation where you were only permitted 1 1/2 hour’s parking time outside on the street up until 6:30 pm. Found parking among free spaces in th middle of the street of two way fast traffic!! A little hazardous but all went well
