Actually the location is superb, just right in front of Metro. But since this is hostel you stay with different kind of people, so sometimes is not worth to share some space while you are like to stay warm and your room mates open the window since they are feeling too hot in 3 degree weather. My first night is ok, and also my 2nd night, but the 3rd night start to get creepy with those in lack of feeling from your new roommates. so since the option only great and bad, I prefer to say bad. but honestly location is best.

My experience with this hostel was nice, overall. I booked one bed in a room with 4 beds. The room was pretty much spacious enough to share for 4 persons’ luggages, bags, and everything. The room was clean, the shower & the toilet too. Even though there was nothing special with this hostel, but everything was normal and I can say that this hostel is suitable for solo travelers.

Generator Paris located nearby Colonel Fabien metro. If you are carrying big luggages, beware, because the metro has no elevator nor escalator so you would have to drag them up and down by yourself. if you happen to arrive early and would like to store your luggages, you can do that - with extra charge. they have a locker on the 1st floor and you get to choose whether to store it for 6hrs or 12hrs (more expensive of course). they have elevator, though :) the room itself is great. the beds are comfy, there are sockets for your charging needs, the bathroom is clean and well-stocked. I didn't stay the whole night because I was chasing a bus at midnight, so I have no idea about breakfast.

The check-in time is very strict. 2 hours must be negotiable. The room is okay, there is a USB port for charging devices. Every floor has a komammal bathroom so there is no need to bother taking a shower every morning, the location is very good, opposite the station, there is a bakery near the subway station, and certainly there is a privacy nearby, for Indonesians. Behind the hotel is an Indonesian restaurant called "Java", a bit pricey but decent. If you want to save money, breakfast there costs only 7 euros, but there is no rice, and if you are Muslim, playing a ham strip is not legal. But you can also eat cereal and yogurt (not tasty) but clearly, the High light is able to meet inspirational people from all over the world.

Firstly, i had booked 2 nights, my plan had changed so i would like to book 4 nights more. Unluckily, i was wrong August instead of July. I asked my agency about that. The agency tried their best to negotiate with hotel butt they did not accepted. The agency recommended me email directly to admin. First time, they replied quickly. I asked them could i change date, i just hoped i can get 3 nights instead of 4 nights as initial book (i checked in 2 days already and found out i was wrong dates and I booked one more night directly). I was waiting for 24 hours and they replied i should contact my agency. The third email i told them i contacted before i asked them. Because it seemed they had no time to replied less than 24 hours. i booked one night again and i hoped i could taken 2 nights instead of 4 nights. After 24 hours they said they could not. What should i say? waste of time!! Secondly, after 3 nights at hotel i asked receptionist "May i have new blanket because old one a bit dirty in 3 nights. She said no. This is the first time i had bad experience with hotel. The price is more expensive than others but service was terrible

Overall, there is no something special about this hostel. What I love the most from this hostel is the location which is very close to Metro Statio "Colonel Fabien", so no need to be worry if you want to explore Paris and return to hostel in the night. Actually I have requested a bottom bed when I booked the room. But as I checking in at hostel I got a top bed. I really disappointed about this because my request was not given.

The hostel is nice, the have a lot of rooms. But you need to pay for towel and luggage. And the check out time is 10.00 so early in my opinion.

Everything is good. Only for having breakfast, you need to pay extra 6.5 Euro. Haven't tried the breakfast tho.

Don't ever be worried if you want to stay here because of its strategic location, great staffs, and great services. I would love to come back and stay here. Very nice for those who are solo travelers.
