Golfe Hôtel

Enjoyed stay. Large clean room, friendly staff. The small heated swimming pool was a nice surprise. Spa was only let-down. Gym equipment only adequate really and bike did not work for me, fancied using jacuzzi and sauna but disappointed that each could only be used for a fee which felt too high. Gave them a miss.

Ladies in the reception were very helpful. Hotel run by women, I was very impressed with their help. Nothing was too much trouble, Restaurant ladies were always very polite and helpful. Cleaning ladies also very attentive. Well done ladies I am very impressed with your efficiency.

Nice hotel and pool. The rooms had pretty thin walls as we were able to hear the rooms next to/above us. The staff wasn't very helpful for us when trying to get help making a reservation in town because our phones didn't work. We were basically told 'no we don't do that' and turned away without further assistance. The rooms and facilities were nicely sized and clean! Location was good; close to the marina and to town.

Nicely located close to marina and 5 min drive to old town. However facilities are run-down. Room and pool area are in need of some upkeep and deep cleaning. Nice staff and good breakfast variety!

The door wouldnt close in my room. Then they downgraded me without refunding the difference. Tona of mosquitos in the room.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast delicious. Hotel is close to restaurants.

Hotel as unexpected. Friendly staff, restaurant food good and meal deal reasonable. Location 1mile from town. We had a nice individual groom,an upgrade. Would recommend as a good three star option.0

Comfortable and updated . Stayed two nights plus free breakfast bottle of wine and welcome bottle of water. 19 minute walk up the hill to the Asterix center and 12 minutes down to the port . WIFI: great .

Can't fault the hotel, aside from the location, which is a 20 minute walk to the centre and the restaurant staff who seemed a little preoccupied with other things (the food taking more than an hour for one course to arrive).

Pleasant hotel, check in, and location. After seeing the lovely picturesetting on the website will expected a better view from our patio than a concrete wall . However it rained the one day and night we were there. The patio covering was a porous material so it was too wet to sit out there. The full breakfast was very good. Parking was convenient. I used a coupon to discount the rate otherwise I thought it was more expensive than I planned to pay.

A little disappointed with our stay after reading such good reviews about this hotel. The pool was nice but needs a makeover. Wouldn’t recommend dinner at the hotel which was expensive for what it was. A good stay but a bit of a let down for us.

Great hotel, lovely spacious room and room location looking out onto gardens near the pool. Out of town on a reasonably busy road although we could not hear any traffic noise. Need transport to get to restaurants and shops. The hotel has rules about no picnics in the room or the grounds.

Really friendly and helpful staff; lovely pool; very quiet; limited but more than adequate evening menu; good continental breakfast; upgraded room and within 15 minutes walk of the old town and the harbour.

This hotel is ok with a nice pool area , a small gym and plenty of free parking. Our room was at the side of the building and was quite dark. It's a bit out from the centre so we needed to use the car to get into town for a meal . Continental Breakfast was included and was fine. There is also a restaurant but we did not use it. We were there right at the end of the summer season and it was very quiet but it could be a lively place in July or August

Breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. Standard room ok for size & was very clean. No issues. Nothing of interest in hotel vicinity, but we drove into and parked relatively easily in Porto Vecchio (2 min drive)

I want to share our experience at this hotel and I'm gonna write a 2 part review. We stayed there 2 nights. This hotel is beautiful, good location (2/3 minutes from Porto Vecc, our room was very clean, smells good, very confortable (ex AC ON when we arrived which is nice.) good included breakfast. HOWEVER we were supposed to stay there without our kid, but at the last minute couldn't find a nanny, so she came with us (she's 5 btw) We are on a road trip, in a middle of our vacation and I totally forgot to ring them to let them know about that. When we check-in I told the front desk about our daughter who was in front of her since 5 minutes, to get an extra bed (that of course I was willing to pay for) and she realized we were 3 (2 and a half..) and she looked at me and said "We do NOT have extra bed in our hotel and add I should REFUSE you.. SO I replied we are not talking about a "DOG" but about a kid. She was confused and apologized, anyway no extra bed, our kid slept on a air mattress we bought after. Next day we met the housekeeping in our room and she asked me if our kid slept on this air mattress, I said yes, she did, why ? And she looked at me and said because we have kid extra bed if you wish..? I let you imagine my feeling when I heard that.. It has to be the housekeeping who got us an extra bed because this front desk was just useless.. Except this I still over rate this Hotel with 4* because it deserves it, but they really need to improve their front desk staff.

Easy to locate off main road, noise unobtrusive, decent check in and welcome, good pool area, breakfast adequate and terrace option good, 20 minutes walk to town centre.
