Hotel Campanile Montargis - Amilly

First ,I made a mistake and booked fir wrong date.Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and changed booking with no drama . I like Campanile as they have parking and are inexpensive .Clean room and comfortable bed .I also like the fact they have kettles . A good stop on a long drive en route to Paris -supermarket nearby but didn’t explore the area . Calm spot

Overnight stay while biking Eurovelo 3. Reception was friendly and easy. The room was modern and comfortable, in very good condition. Breakfast was excellent, a wide variety of breads, cheese, meats, eggs, etc. I would happily stay here again.

Great location for travelling between southern France and the UK. Clean, friendly staff and good food.

Unfortunately we had great difficulty finding this hotel. We asked several people who didn't know where it was located. After spending 1.5 hours searching driving around, we stopped at a restaurant and asked. The manager didn't know either, however, one of his customers thought he did and he very kindly got in his car and asked us to follow him to the hotel. Alas the hotel was not ours, but the receptionist put our very kind guide on the right track, and after another 15 minutes we found ourselves at the Hotel Campanile Montargis. We thanked our very kind guide and checked in. Arriving at about 8.50pm we were told the kitchen was closed for hot food and all they could offer us was a cold buffet. After a conversation with the very nice receptionist about having started our day in Kent at 5am and getting hopelessly lost in Montargis and Amilly she managed to get us hot food for which we were most grateful together with a bottle of delicious rose. This was perfect for the end of our first day of our holiday, which could have ended in disaster. If the management of the Hotel Campanile Montargis reads this, they really need to add a comprehensive map of where this hotel is located. Our room was very clean, the bed most comfortable, bathroom lovely with a great shower. Breakfast the next morning good. Couldn't fault this at all. Staff lovely and helpful. Plenty of parking. Only complaint is that it was very very difficult to find..

There was a problem with our arrival date which they said was August. I explained it had been changed and showed them your confirmation of this. They finally accepted this especially as we ate there. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

We haven't been staying in Campaniles as much this trip as last year, since most of them seem to have increased prices by 15-20 euros. This one was less than many. And we do like some of classic things about Campaniles, like how they have an electric kettle and tea bags, and a nice long counter with several handy electrical outlets for charging tablet, batteries, etc. Why more hotels don't do those things - which should be basics - is a mystery. All in all, this was your basic clean, comfy enough, and handy hotel room for a reasonable price.

We enjoyed our stay for one night. Shower was good. Free wifi was working well. Pity that there were only French programms on tv.

Intended to stay one night but weather very wet and floods in area so stayed a second night housekeeping staff very helpful gave us extra teas and coffees for room as we were confined to room for the whole day we were travelling by motorbike think they felt sorry for us

Friendly staff. Comfy room and great bathroom with a separate shower and a bath.

Hotel and room were clean, bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The waiter looked like a frightened rabbit in the head lights at first when he realised we were English but he was ok when I spoke French. Service started off ok but was slow towards the end of our meal, my dinner plate was not taken away, we would have ordered more drinks, but couldn't get service. This may have been because France were beating Portugal at the time. Overall though a pleasant stay and would probably stay again.

2nd time I stay in this hotel as 1at impression was fairly good.

The hotel should have an iron and iron board at disposition. Adapter plug for non EU travellers should also be at disposition.

Personnel agréable mais mal isolé et juste à côté de l’autoroute on entend les voitures

Chambre propre et spacieuse, baignoire spacieuse.

J'ai payé le petit déjeuner pour rien

Lit très bien Propreté de la chambre ok Tv avec des chaînes mélangées Bouilloire sale Traces de moisi autour de la baignoire Tête de douche bouchée par la crasse et le calcaire

Malheureusement personne pour m'accueillir à mon arrivée, j'ai du patienter dans la voiture. Pour le reste, le personnel est agréable, la chambre ok.
