Hotel recently refurbished to a high standard and in central area, with underground parking, although limited and at extra cost, an added bonus. Near bars,restaurants and shops all within walking distance, an ideal location.

Lovely hotel, in a perfect location. It was very hot when we stayed and our poor little car was melting, the staff kindly allowed us to park in the underground garage.
Clean, spacious room, didn’t use the pool as wasn’t there for that long, but would definitely come back

In the centre of town, near restaurants. Nice renovation
And bright. Interesting lay out.
The only thing was the AC opposite the bed was hard to control the air flow. No matter was we tried.

Receptionist was superb on arrival. The underground car park was extremely tight, but the Receptionist was very helpful and patient. The room was ready early. It was small, but very clean and had everything we needed.

Great location with parking (paid) onsite/ and or infront of the hotel. Multi lingual friendly and helpful staff (particularly Anne - who was a delight to meet). Good sized rooms and kettle with tea and coffee. 1 min walk into centre. Didn’t use spa facilities but they looked lovely. Would stay again.

The room was fine, quiet and confortable but the staff at the desk quite disappointing. We spent two nights, were told we needed a code to enter after 11:00 pm but in fact there was nobody present between 8:00 and 9:00 pm and we had to rely on other customers to enter. As for the check out, the only word pronunced by the person at the desk was "merci". they never ask how was our stay, if we needed a taxi (it was raining). One day later, we received an automatic email full off mistakes hoping we had a nice stay... well, we had, but not thanks to them!

First, the hotel room, staff and location were great. It would have been nice to know that major construction has been going on for a while, and will continue for some time to come. In absolute fairness, this did NOT impact sleep at the place. It did distract from a welcoming feeling. Trucks, cranes etc were the first thing we saw as we got there.
The parking (regardless of construction) is limited in the immediate area, but the Hotel has an arrangement with the immediately adjacent parking lot so that worked out good.
The area in front of the hotel is the parking lot, so the ambiance of the place is not wonderful. However, everything you need is within easy walk from the hotel.

This is a great place to stay in Saumur. The room was nice, although there were no ammenities, i.e. shampoo, lotion. The staff was nice and quite willing to help us. Most spoke excellent English. There was a very tiny terrace (see picture) with a chair and table, but for only one person.

Fourth visit and just as good as ever.
Helpful and very friendly staff, comfortable room; though no air conditioning made it a little hot; but you don’t get a canicule very often. Breakfast excellent.
We will return whenever we visit Saumur
