We booked this as an overnight stay on our way from the uk to Italy. We knew it would be basic … but it was actually little more than a hostel. We hadn’t realised that the rooms didn’t have even basic en suites, and the shared toilets and showers (you have to pay for towels and toiletries or bring your own) were pretty grim. There was a horrible damp smell everywhere and the bedrooms were dark and hot. No air con and windows that only opened a crack and then let in the mosquitos. And the noise of the freight railway that is on one side of the ‘hotel’ - the motorway is on the other. An awful night of no sleep - we left very early next morning! Honestly - you should definitely pay a few euros more and get something better!

Ideally situated right next to motorway, for a quick stop. But even though I paid more for a better room it was so small!! I had to edge my way round the wall to the bed. The toilet touched the shower and I could hardly stand next to tiny sink. Really noisy at night. Small children screaming in corridor outside my room. I expressed concern and they assured me all would be quiet after 10pm. At 12.45 am was woken by what sounded like a party in a room on ground floor. I had had a really long journey to here. Had another 500km next day and really needed my sleep. Had to get dressed to go and complain about the loud gathering. Bad night’s sleep. A waste of my money.

A budget location nearby Lyon- while our first room had some issues we were instantly moved to another so great service. While the space is cramped its fine for a night or two. Its about 20 minutes driving to get into the city proper.

No loo or shower with the room. I probably didn’t read the small print but this was all well below par when you are paying more than Euro30 a night. Two loos and two showers per 10 rooms. Waited for ever and COVID nightmare. Luckily two beds as one has blood on the sheets. No towels.

The room was OK but it is not very comfortable. We had problems with the code to get into our bedroom. Once we were stuck outside and could not get in the room. I don't find the hotel very clean and it lacks in hygiene. For instance, the toilets and showers are in the corridor. You go to the toilets but there is no sink and soap to wash your hands. In the shower room, there is no sink either. There should be a way to was your hands in the toilets.

Hotel vraiment glauque, ça fume des joints a l’entrée tranquille, la TV ne fonctionne pas mais a l’accueil (si on peut appeler ça comme ça…) on ne vous propose pas une autre chambre. Ca traine comme dans l’allée d’un immeuble de cartier de seconde zone bref….
