Overall the hotel was average. There were a few things that i really didnt like: Every mug was chipped in multiple places, I didn't find one that was completely in tact. We had 3 people in our room but only given 2 room keys. When I asked for an extra key, I was told that I had to pay €10 for it! My husband then went to ask for an extra key and the price was then €5! If you're going to charge for 3 people (2 adults and one young teen) in a room, then make it policy to give out 3 keys. Not hard. Lastly, we had to check our itemised bill properly as drinks that we had not had, had been added to our bill.

Only it’s location Very tired property only the restaurant staff were polite and helpful Reception closed for long lengths of time after booking only then made aware of 6pm check in Totally unacceptable Booked this property as it had parking had to beg for a space even though the parking area remained half empty during my stay was told it was 80euros a week for the parking as an extra cost when said I was only there for 4 days was told it’s the same price Disgusting Never paid for parking in a supposedly 4 star hotel Left one night early as the experience was shocking... This should be removed from your site to save others the disappointment

Old hotel, cheaply renovated, no parking, if you have a car, good luck. Really small rooms. Not sure if that was a European thing or a French thing. paper thin walls, I could hear the guy next to me snore. The staff were supper nice and friendly. Location was OK too. I would not go back. I would go to Taj-I Mah. I know you can't compare. This place is like a 2 to 3 star hotel. Again, super nice staff.

Check in and out was really simple and overall staff were polite and helpful. Food isnt cordon bleu but theres a really good selection of entirely decent food in abundance. Its an alpine hotel so the rooms are small but that should be expected from anybody one their second ski trip or above. The hotel is very family oriented including evening kids activities in the bar so perhaps a bit off piste for stag / hen dos or lads / girls nights out. Otherwise its not super modern but the facilities all work. The food isnt gourmet but its all pretty good. Its entirely true that you get what you pay for so if you want a chef, butler, butcher, baker and candlestick maker then look elsewhere. We had a great stay!

As a 4-night short stay we found the hotel cheap and convenient. However, you get what you pay for. Room - For the two of us we had a triple room with a tiny bathroom and tiny wc (separate). Clean but very small and cramped possessing little storage space. Very few towels, not changed daily and the bathroom got soaked with every shower having the smallest shower screen and shortest bath imaginable. TV had no english channels and anything premium was encrypted or not tuned in. Food - Breakfast was a buffet style mixture of cereals, breads and cakes, cold meat and cheeses, dairy, bacon/eggs (you can hard boil your own but it takes over 10 minutes in the bains marie), etc. Lunch - We assumed it was make your own at breakfast and bring it with you or buffet again (we ate out) Dinner - A variety of themes differing each night with a bookable 'regional' menu. The dinner bell goes at 19:30pm and the masses gather from 18:30 to secure their place at the front of the queue. Quite comical to watch. Staff - friendly and helpful. As some of them take part in the daily entertainments/shows/cabarets etc they have to be 'happy hands' ready but all quite pleasant. Facilities Pool - not the warmest but a good size (not open all day in case you finish your skiing early) SPA - is only available if booked in advance. Not convenient if you make a last minute decision to have a jacuzzi after a hard days ski. Ski shop - on site but closed for a large part of it. Helpful staff.

Worst point was that the reception closes by 20.30 and if you don't have your key with you after that you can't get into your room until night staff come on at midnight! This is ridiculous. Beds were ok but room was very small with extremely small toilet, bathroom and cupboard/wardrobe - this was in a three bed room occupied by two. Ski and boot storage were good. Swimming pool looked ok but did not use. Room was very hot - difficult to regulate temperature with window.
