It was a nice room and clean overall. Staff are also friendly. AC is also very strong which is needed during the European heatwave.
The best thing about the hotel is the location which is in the centre and walkable to all the major attractions.
However, the rooms are a little old fashioned and need some renovation. I also didn’t like the fact that the reception isn’t staffed between 9pm till the next morning. Between those hours you have to enter via the night entrance at the back - this is a little eery even at 10pm and stepping into the dark staircase. I wish I had known this beforehand.
Overall okay experience, especially as I was only there for 1 night anyway.

There was a lack of staff, they were trying to cover both the bar/restaurant and the hotel reception desk. Every time we came to the desk we had to look around to find someone to help us. Otherwise, our room was the largest we have had.

Was offered first room outside the hotel with no windows and a very bad smell they did eventually find a us a room in the hotel. Hotel needs some redecorating and cleaning especially in the common parts. Great location however for the town if not arriving in your car.

Great location in Biarritz :) the only down side was that our room was facing a street where there was a nightclub really close by that had the generous opening hours 00-07 so unfortunately that made it a bit difficult to get proper sleep

The main lobby area is really nice and modern. But once you get to the upper floors- the halls are dated. The rooms had a smell to it when we entered. Location is central which was perfect- just wish they cleaned the rooms more thoroughly. There were stains on the sheet and a strand of hair.

Rooms were a decent size for France, but a bit tired. Could definitely use a sprucing up and our room was nowhere near as nice as the common area. Hot water tank broke one day, and had no hot water. No discount was offered for the inconvenience.
Air conditioning was poor and very weak. Hot and stuffy room.
Brunch on Sunday was good. Other than that the bar on the main floor closed super early everyday (by 7 pm). Front desk is not staffed 24 hours a day.
Proximity to the beach is very good, but overall not really great value for the money charged.
