What Guests Say About Their Stay

Staffs are very helpful and polite. Room is very clean. Breakfast is good. Eggs are cooked fresh upon order. We supposed to be given a bottle of red wine per stay but think they had missed that out. But we were given a double upgrade which we are thankful for that. Will stay again when we visit Paris again.

This was an interesting stay. First let me start with the good stuff… the staff here is amazingly competent and willing to go that extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable. They would greet me every time I came in. There was a bartender Kohra… she hooked up my drinks pretty good, it was a great start to the nights I went out. The room is pretty well kept and i appreciated the daily clean and night set up. Room service was descent, this is a smaller boutique hotel so I don’t think they are making the dishes on the spot, I think they are headed up. So that was a little off putting. Also they advertise the bath as a deep soak. This it is but you won’t be able to lay down, there is a chair in it and the point I guess is to just soak for a little while. I chose this hotel because in my range of $400 a night I thought it was the best choice. Again it’s a modern boutique hotel off the busy area about a block. So the bath was the seller but a bit of a disappointment. The bed was super comfortable and I did get to enjoy a couple days with the windows open as some early morning there was construction. Overall the stay wasn’t what I really wanted but it is a beautiful hotel with nice people that work there. Not sure if this helps or put you off but it really depends on what you’re looking for.

I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel de Nell. The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout always ready to help and make everything seamless. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, very clean, and has a calm, refined atmosphere that feels both luxurious and comfortable. The rooms are thoughtfully done and impeccably maintained. The location is excellent centrally situated in the 9th arrondissement. I arrived into Gare du Nord and was able to walk to the hotel, which made things incredibly easy. There are also plenty of great restaurants, shops, and key areas nearby. A truly charming Parisian stay I would absolutely return and highly recommend it.

The bat was very average and not very welcoming. The room was spacious enough although the shower weirdly had one floor light! It was like showering in a cave!! I returned at around 1215am one night and the door was locked with nobody at reception to let me in - my key card couldn’t give me access either. I stood outside and hammered the door and windows for 10 minutes before being let in! I don’t expect that from a 5 star hotel. One other little thing was that on Sunday morning breakfast they had run out of croissant and pain au chocolate by 1030am. I really don’t expect that from a 5 star hotel in Paris - particularly with the money you pay for room
