Hôtel du Midi Paris Montparnasse

The room was spacious and clean. Hotel location is great, convenient public transportation

We loved our stay here. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was very convenient to the train. The neighborhood offered lovely shops for snacks and specialty items. We would definitely stay here again.

The property needs a deep cleaning. The lobby stairwell is dirty along the baseboards and walls. I stayed in Rm 16 Oct. 2025 and the carpet has some nasty brown/tan stains on it. I put the bed runner down on the floor bc I couldn't stand walking on unknown stains. If you want breakfast, you have to notify them the day before. Location of property is fine, convenient to Metro, front desk people nice and has a mini frig & kettle/coffee in rm. But, doubt I would stay there again due to cleanliness.

Very charming, typical Larisian hotel in a convenient location. They currently (September 2025) have major infrastructure works running outside all through the middle of the night. Staff kindly gave me a top floor room but the digging noise is still extreme. Other than this, a very pleasant hotel.

There were construction near the hotel so their park was closed and we didn’t know where to park. The road to the hotel was closed and under construction.

Quiet and convenient next to Denfert station

The hotel was nice for the most part. It was very dated. The rooms all need new carpeting, they are very old and stained. There was some damage to the walls in the hallways as well. The staff was nice and helpful and the beds were comfortable. A/c was very good as well. Overall the hotel just needs a facelift.

Convenient location across Denfert station. Room is quiet, great window sound proofing.

Superb location, right across the street from the metro station as well as the catacombs with a great price point for Paris. It's gonna cost like $300 more per night to get the same sort of deal near the Eiffel tower for instance. But if you’re right next to a train station, it doesn't matter bc you can get to Eiffel or Notre Dame or the Louvre within 20 min with very little walking. As for the hotel itself- very comfortable bed, interesting bathroom with quirky built in hair dryer that only has 1 temp control which i guess is more eco friendly but not great if you have a ton of hair like i do.. the biggest issue was that they had a really nice looking jetted tub that i was looking forward to using and so one day i got back a little early from my outing to have a "spa day". I filled up the tub and tried to turn on the jets but it wouldn't work! I asked my friend to go downstairs to ask the front desk if there was something we were doing wrong or what and they told him that the tub just doesn't work in our room (or maybe the whole floor? Idk i wasn't there) and that they knew about it before and didn’t tell us. At the very least if i knew about it in advance, I'd either have asked for a different room or wouldn't have gotten my heart set on a spa day. All in all, it was very minimal and the only issue i had with the place. Would I stay there again? Sure, if the price is right - I just wouldn't get excited about the jetted tub.
