Staff are very kind and accommodating, and it was great that we could speak English with some staff. Rooms were clean and well kept. Great location for quickly accessing shops, restaurants and the Sanctuary, all within a 10 minute walk. Only downside - very small bathroom that was somewhat difficult to manoeuvre in at times. But, it has everything you need and got the job done!

We only stayed one night with a family of 4. The hotel is old, but it was a cheap price. The owner was very helpful in guiding us and holding our luggage after checkout. There’s a laundromat 3 min. away and the Sanctuary was less than 10 min.

If you are claustrophobic this may not be the hotel for you. It has a feel of an escape room. But if you just want a place to stay with helpful and friendly staff and a compromise between distance from the train station, castle, shops, and shrine this is good central location. On my return trip I will not likely go back. I will consider paying 20% to 30% at another hotel.

Food value, centrally located hotel. Basic but with all you need for a one or two night stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and couldn't be more conveniently located, being no more than 10 minutes walk away from Le Grotto and The sanctuary. With many restaurants and bars in the surrounding streets, you are spoilt for choice if you choose not to take up the dining options within the hotel, which are simple, cheap and looked yummy! Enjoy Lourdes, even if you are not of a religious nature, like us, it us a truly fascinating town and we'll worth a visit.

Stayed for 2 days, half-board. The owner was very approachable and went the extra mile for the client, nothing was too much trouble. I left at 6 am on the second day and he had provided a thermos with hot water, fresh milk and a croissant so I could have breakfast before I caught an early train.

The hotel is well located. The staff are helpful and kind. The room I had was very small and basic but suited my needs. Nonetheless I would probably look for an alternative hotel should I return to Lourdes, but I would still consider La Fontaine if I couldn't find a well-priced alternative.

Le séjour s'est très bien passé, le personnel était attentionné, le ménage était bon, le point négatif était qu'ils ont débité ma carte deux fois pour le séjour et il n'y a aucun moyen de se plaindre car ils n'ont pas d'e-mail et ils ne comprennent pas l'espagnol.
