Perfectly located. Ample metered parking outside and locals tell me there is even free parking a bit further. Room was great and the little corridor to the bathroom was so spacious. Friendly reception downstairs too.

The hotel is a little worn but, the breakfast, location, and hostess will more than make up for that. It's located within easy walking distance from the train station (about 3 minutes) and in the old town. We enjoyed our stay in Vitre. Largest cup of coffee that we had in France at breakfast.

The room and bathroom were dated with respect to decor. However the things that mattered were spot on. Very clean, bed and linen were very comfortable and looked very new. Lady on reception very helpful; she prefers to speak French rather than English, which was fine by us. Restaurant next door is excellent. Breakfast plentiful, good service, good value. The hotel is located just on the edge of the historic centre, so very easy to explore the lovely town.

We couldn't have been made more welcome, the Hotel is right in the middle of the town and close to restaurants and within walking distance of a great deal of history. Madame was very helpful and we would certainly stay there again. Brilliant Hotel - try it.

The absolute best breakfast in Europe on our two week trip ... and 9 hotels .... The hotel was getting repainted on the outside so there was plastic over our windows. There was a strong bleach smell from when the bathroom was cleaned and you couldn't really open the windows to let in fresh air. They have the absolute nicest hotel staff and the best breakfast. Eggs made for you specifically in the morning the way you like them! Made me feel like I was back home at Mom's!

This is not a fancy hotel, but it is well located, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean. Vitre's main historic sites are within easy walking distance. The hotel management is so very welcoming and friendly. They are a delight. We would stay here again without hesitation.

J avais demandé une chambre peu bruyante et ma chambre a été changé en conséquence.
