We were in Bayeux for one night on our way to a WWII tour of Normandy. This hotel was perfect for our needs. Check in was easy and the woman who checked us in was extremely friendly. The room was clean and perfect for myself, my husband, and our teenager. My only negative is that check in wasn't until 4pm so that made for a long day of carrying our bags around Bayeux while we waited for the hotel to open. Be sure to check out Pizza family a few doors down. Delicious pizza at a fantastic price. We had dinner and then went back the next day for lunch before we caught our train back to Paris.

The hotel is very well situated in the town and it’s very clean. The owner and all staff were very helpful very friendly. There is no parking and the property, but It’s only about a half a block away.

Nice little hotel close to the heart of the city and about a 30min walk from train station. Room and bathroom were clean. Lacked bathroom amenities, but not a real issue for me because I travel with my own. Bed was a 6/10 in comfort. I would stay there again. FYI- Uber ride to train station at 7:30am was ~20 euros

We had a very nice stay at this hotel in one of their family rooms. The couple who own this property, Aline and her husband, are incredibly kind and helpful. They made it easy to get onto the property during all hours. I have two comments; one is that the height of the hair dryer is difficult to use if you’re on the shorter side like me, and the second is that the pillows are really flat. The bed was comfortable and very nice at the end of a long day. We only had the opportunity to eat breakfast one morning during our stay but enjoyed it very much. The croissants were delicious! Thank you for your hospitality.

There are definitely some things to like about the property - while not in the center of town it was a close enough walk to restaurants/shops. Parking is close by and free. Breakfast was good, especially liked the basket of bread/croissants set on the table each morning. Their coffee/latte/espresso machine will satisfy your caffeine fix. Was not in love with the family studio room, very early 1990's Ikea type furniture, bare bones decor. It reminded me of the kind of room you get when you're in college and you are scraping together money for a long weekend at the beach with a couple of friends. There were only 2 small bed pillows, but I was able to get an extra pillow at the front desk. Granted it's a 2-star hotel so expectations should not be that high. "Garden view" is a patch of grass with a couple of chairs - there is no garden to speak of, Was unable to use the tea kettle in the room because of a white film deposit of some kind and was not going to dig in there to scrub it out. Reminder that there is no shower gel in the room - just hand soap. I think some of the rooms in the main building would have a better aesthetic than his option.

We loved our stay at Hotel St. Patrice! This historic building has a lot of character and the owners are lovely and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet and the bed was comfortable. It’s is well located near many restaurants and attractions in the lovely little town of Bayeux. We did the breakfast one of the mornings and it was delicious and a good value. Only thing to be aware of is they close from 12-4 each day. Unfortunately we arrived just after noon and had to carry our bags around town for 4 hours. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again if we return to this lovely area.
