Location and view are fantastic, breakfast is a risk very good (baked goods were delicious), but the hotel itself is a bit run down. Room was clean, but sparse and lacking window/ proper ventilation. It was sufficient for our one night stay, but we were glad to be moving on.

The hotel was easy to find, though the approach over the bridge was a bit nerve-wracking! The parking is down a narrow drive between the church & the hotel. The setting is stunning and there’s a fantastic 4km walk to Saint-Cirque-Lapopie. The hotel is a bit tired & could do with an update, but the room was fine for 2 nights. Quite roomy and quiet. Plenty of hot water, etc. But...... it says that there is wifi in the rooms. This is not the case if you are in the annexe rooms, which have the better views. Wifi is only any good in reception, even in the restaurant it’s patchy. Restaurant staff are friendly & helpful, and the food was ok.

An average stay - good location but room was very small, dated and extremely hot - no opening window or air conditioning - had to leave door open. Good restaurant attached and nice location - right on river. Be careful of entry - extremely tight and when leaving rock on curb went under our car causing huge scratch !! Not a nice end to stay.

The hotel is very tired, gardens unkempt and pool out of order. If you are relying on a swim after a long hot journey check with hotel before booking!! However the area is lovely and hotel situated on the river bank. Breakfast OK but 8 euros a bit steep. Staff tended to avoid speaking at times and reception polite but minimal information. Room clean and comfortable with shower over bath. Lashings of hot water! Very thin walls between you and your nighbour, sounds can be interesting!! We did not try resturant.

We stayed at the hotel on an overnight stay on the way to Spain. The hotel was difficult to find as the Sat-Nav took us off the motorway too early. In order to reach the hotel you have to cross an iron bridge over the River Lot - the bridge being just wide enough for a car or van. The location would be idyllic in the summer months but we stayed late October and were only one of two couples staying there. The hotel reminded us of Butlins as the rooms are obviously designed for families with children, all situated around a swimming pool. The restaurant was opened especially for us, with a limited choice of food although the quality was good. Breakfast was basic but all fresh food. Parking was no problem. The hotel is obviously designed around summer holidays and for lengthier stays than ours - although the management made us welcome and comfortable
