Great location, great hotel, pay parking right beside hotel so just do it instead of driving around aimlessly. Restaurant and bar were pretty good too. I would recommend

Great stay at a very comfortable hotel. Had dinner in the restaurant and food and service were excellent.

I often choose to stay in a Mercure as they're pretty reliable, and this one is very good. Friendly staff, good restaurant, nice outdoor patio, good sound-proofing, inexpensive parking next door. The rooms are a little lacking in amenities - poor selection of toiletries, no room safe, ironing board and iron, very small wardrobe with very few hangers - but are very comfortable and quiet. Overall, this was a very good experience.

Hotel Mercure has very stylish & comfortable rooms. Strange that the mini bar contained nothing apart from one bottle of water. The restaurant serves excellent food. Only downside was the wine of the month which was insipid to say the least. One expects better in a four star hotel in France. La Roche sur Yon was ok for an overnight stay but isn't particularly attractive or interesting

1 night very comfortable hotel. Good restaurant. Free parking close by in town square 6pm to 9am. No breakfast though seemed expensive for 15 euro

We stayed the night here to break up the journey after 2 weeks camping in the south of France. The room itself was amazing, with a curtained off area for the children to sleep in and all amenities provided including free cold drinks which were welcome after a long hot drive. Dinner in the bistro and breakfast in the morning were very tasty and well staffed. All in all an excellent choice, we will be back again.

Rooms are a respectable style. Stylish. Service is very good. The one thing that could be better is integrated parking.

Our one night stay here was very pleasant. We were only passing through the area so didn't spend any time in La Roche sur Yon itself. The hotel was easy to find, and had secure, covered parking in the multi-story car park next door. The reception service was polite and efficient, making check-in very quick and easy. The service at the bar was a bit slow - the bar staff did not seem to be available at opening time, and the reception staff had to fill in. Our evening meal was very good, with a wide menu and good wine. The room was well furnished (recently renovated I believe), the shower was very good and the bed was very comfortable. The only disappointment was the air conditioning - despite being set to the lowest temperature, the room was very hot all night.

The hotel was great, about a ten-minute walk from the train station. The breakfast buffet was nice, and the room was great. Every street and sidewalk in this town is torn up and being repaired. The sidewalks are gravel.

I stayed here with my partner, 13 year old neice and labrador (dog). We stopped here to break up the journey from St Malo to Biscarosse. The hotel was perfect for our requirements and the reception staff very friendly and helpful. So much so, that we booked to stay again on our way back home. The restaurant was rather pricey, but the room was excellent value for money.

The only thing that bothered me was the rather expensive(though excellent) breakfast at 16 euros. Otherwise this is a great hotel.

Situated in the town centre, but on routes with easy access in and out of town. Near to the railway station (about 5 mins) and a very secure parking garage next door if you wish to pat for it (5 euro per 24 hours on my stay). Nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner, with friendly waiters and a nice little bar.

Bel hôtel au cœur d’un centre ville pas terrible en terme de quartier bof bof Décoration moderne. La Chambre familiale est grande Déception sur le restaurant où il n’est proposé que des tapas. grosse déception sur la salle de bain de la chambre avec une baignoire vieillissante avec fuite et une douche tte toute petite. Connaisseurs des hôtels Mercure on a l’habitude d’avoir de belles sdbs avec une grande douche moderne.
