The room was spartan, not up to ibis rooms elsewhere, the bathroom not properly cleaned and a toilet in a ridiculous position. It maybe old but the bathroom needed to be a lot cleaner, not a memorable stay

Great room for great price

When we checked in we went to pay the city tax and noted a considerably higher amount in the screen to be taken. We questioned this and was told we had to pay for the full room, we had already paid in full (minus the city tax) on booking and even with proof of payment we were told if we didn’t pay we would not be getting a room. Ended up having to pay for the second time and almost a week later we have still not received the refund we have been guaranteed by hotels.com

Good stay overnight

Perfectly acceptable budget hotel rooms. Great for overnight when travelling. Reception was very pleasant and helpful.Restaurant in full price Ibis next door, also very good bakery on next plot open from 7.30am

Migrant hotel next door so felt unsafe to go out for a walk

As per their name…Budget…basic! Bathrooms need improvement!

Excellent value for money for a quick overnight stay while driving to the coast.

Overnight stop enroute to Spain.Cheap and cheerful. Plenty of options to eat around.

Excellent location,near good public transport. Basic facilities.

Easy to find and plenty of parking. If you have time in the morning great continental breakfast. Clean just the job for travellers.

Apart from bedside lamp not working and a toilet seat needing to be replaced as chipped, the room was to the normal standard when we have stayed here. Would always like a bathroom mat but this is a budget hotel so... Be aware that there are a number of people hanging around outside so make sure your valuables are out of sight in your car. The adjoining ibis hotel has a good restaurant that can recommend.

I prebooked and prepaid for a room at this hotel. When I checked in the receptionist was rude, questioned my integrity, refused to accept the proof of payment that I showed her and made me pay again for the room I had already paid for. I will never use this excuse for a hotel again. Be warned, there are plenty of good hotels in Poitiers, this isn't one of them.
