Amazing staff, very good food, clean and spacious rooms

Excellent staff

The room is adequate but the air conditioning is controlled centrally, which is not something the hotel tells you. I asked 3 times for the temperature to be lowered as it was too warm to sleep and the staff were unable to help. On the last attempt, the staff called the manager who said there’s nothing they can do and I should open a window. The manager spoke to the staff in French and never bothered to speak to me to explain or apologise. Not to mention that my room faced a highway so sleeping with the window open is impractical. Terrible service.

The rooms are basic but nice. Except that the USB charger behind the bed was damaged and there was not enough space to plug the charging cube in the electric outlet. Just not the best headboard design. Sorry Accor/Ibis hotels, When you walk in the lobby, you will see a little round table that supposedly is the reception desk. I had to ask. The girl with glasses and a visible peach fuzz mustache was not very well trained. She had her eyes glued to her cell phone as if that was more important than the customer. Came here this weekend for the medieval festival. We asked her about it and she said “I have no idea”. She did not make eye contact or offered any help besides “googling” the location. She simply processed my credit card. No welcomes, no thank yous but she reminded me that the restaurant does not open on weekends. This hotel missed a great opportunity to attract guests and families to the Monthlhery medieval festival which has been organized for the past 8 years by the town. Instead, the place was a ghost town. Create packages, make noise about it and fill the rooms. I was at room 218 and I paid around 95 euros for it plus breakfast. Not a bad deal. The breakfast is ok. Not fantastic in spite of the fact that they won best breakfast award in 2022. Confusing, It’s 8.29AM and they ran out of yogurt. Confusing cause they have a sign that says “create your own yogurt”.

The restaurant has a really good food which is really beneficial due to location of the hotel.

They took a deposit from me for an empty room and money for parking. They are of poor quality and unprofessional. I do not recommend them.

Staff were lovely

The hotel is close to many dining facilities. The staff manner is very friendly.

The hotel is located on a busy main carriageway which we found complicated to access at times. The hotel had a restaurant open during the week; there was a choice of adequate eating houses a short walk from the site though these were busy/booked when we tried on the Saturday. The staff were friendly and accommodating; secure parking with easy hotel access was at the rear of the hotel. The hotel itself was good, clean and functional. Of the choices viewed I think this worked well, and I'd be comfortable booking an Ibis hotel elsewhere having some comfort I know what to expect.

Le personnel était accueillant - Le petit déjeuner gourmand- La chambre était très bien Parfait J'y retournerai.

Kamer was in een bijgebouw. Dat is even zoeken. Voor een 3 persoonskamer waren voor 2 personen handdoeken neergelegd. In het weekend is het restaurant niet open waardoor je elders je heil moeten zoeken. Niet fijn na een dag autorijden. Het ontbijt is beperkt in variatie. Hier komen wij niet meer terug.

Les douches sont bouchées.

À part une attente de 3h pour ma chambre, le reste du séjour s'est bien passé.
