ibis Nantes Saint-Herblain

The room felt a bit cramped, the shower in the bathroom had a crack which was dirty. Without any uniform it was difficult to tell who was actually staff. Upon check in I was told about the restaurant times in the evening only to then be told in the evening that it was in fact closed.

The hotel is great although not the finest area, it’s just an industrial estate.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli à notre arrivée, les chambres familiales sont spacieuses et mention spéciale au départ, très matinal, par le night qui a pris le temps de nous préparer des cafés. La localisation est idéale pour rejoindre l'aéroport rapidement !

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Poor reception area.

Service was outstanding! Dinner delicious and a good offering at breakfast. Rooms a little tired but comfortable beds, hot showers etc! We would stay again :)

The hotel is excellent value for money and convenient to Nantes Airport. The outside looks a bit scruffy but the inside is very nice. The rooms are clean and functional with comfortable beds. We ate in the restaurant which was nice. The menu catered for every taste the seating/decor was very nice. The optional/extra breakfast in the morning was self-service with a great selection. Overall, a good experience and we would stay again.

Very pleasant check in. Restaurant food was good. Service was great and all staff made a real effort to make me feel at home.

We stayed here when visiting the Ile de Machines and the Chateau of the Dukes of Brittany. Although not undercover, there is free on-site parking with security gates at night. About 250m to the Francois Mitterand Tramway Terminus for a frequent, good value, service to the city centre and beyond. Rooms basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We were travelling by motorcycle and pleased to see a custom bike builders co-located with a bar/restaurant in an industrial unit just across the road. It was very popular, even on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and served a wide range of 'craft' beers including some from the UK and good quality food.

Nice rooms, comfortable bed, good restaurant with friendly staff - but no tea / coffee facilities in the room.

Excellent hotel in very convenient location for the airport. Room was great for a family of 4. resturant was very nice and breakfast was excellent - great selection and staff very friendly / helpful ensuring all selections refilled for choice.

Basic hotel in a good location for Nantes airport. Good bar with the great extra of tables and chairs outside for an evening drink in the sun. Restaurant a bit limited but ok. Special mention for Kevin and Deborah who seem to do everything in this hotel with efficiency and a smile. Well done guys!

Absolutely terrible worst hotel in my whole life. Room looked over trash dump, warm milk in cereal, warm orange juice. no one to help. Room squashed and no charging points by bed. Old fashioned box room, smelt bad too!

We have been big fans of the Ibis chain and have always had good experiences. Until now. We had just a single night stopover in Nantes and selected this property because of its location near our route. Arrival, check-in, and service was great and to expected Ibis standards. The general cleanliness and comfort of the facility and room was also, and the highlight of the visit was the great breakfast. The first problem we had was that there was an awful sewerage smell in the bathroom. If you know a bit about plumbing, there was no P-trap under the sink, so smells from the sewer system were naturally flowing back into the bathroom. A regular flow of water in the sink and the shower made it bearable, but this is a construction flaw--hopefully only with the room we were in, not the entire facility. Then, the next morning there was no hot water. After showering with frigid water we packed up and went down to check out. We told the clerk there was no hot water. She just shrugged and said it was the problem of the day. Our perfect run with Ibis is over, we'll think twice booking with them again.

Close to airport and not too far out of town- you will need a car

Great service from staff, but room was old and outdated. Towels were also old and worn. Convenient spot if you want to stay outside the city but maintain access to the airport and Saint Nazaire.

Basic but clean and good value. Easy to access from Nantes ring road .perfect for stopover. Plenty restaurants nearby. Breakfast surprisingly good.
