This is a great hotel to get away from it all. Unfortunately this was a business trip and I was not able to take advantage of the beauty of the area. I need to come back here with my wife so we can take time to unwind, and enjoy all the hotel and area have to offer. If you love seafood this is the pace to come. Oh my god the sole dish is to die for. Things I did not have tome to do- 1. in suite Sauna 2. Outdoor hottube overlooking the Sea. 3. wonderful walking paths by the ocean. 4. Explore the rocky beach. 5. Take in the beautiful coastline and just relax on a bench to unwind. 6. Many more I am sure I missed. each room is unique and quirky. This reminds me of cottages of Cape Cod in Massacheusetts. very quant and inviting. This is not your ususal business hotel. WIFI is great, the TV Channels are abundant, the staff is amazing, and the food is tremendous. I have nothing bad to say about this establishemnt. Please remember this is not a a chain hotel and that is a wonderful thing. enjoy.

A great little hotel, with superb food (including great choice of plateaux de fruits de mer) in a wonderful location - a wooded area right on the coast, great for walking, or just sitting doing nothing!!

Overall, poor late check-in experience, with staff expecting us to find a building 300m away and go to 2nd floor looking for a room, ourselves, until I demanded someone show us to the room. The room was only occupied room in an otherwise empty property, with run-down and old apartment, fixtures and fittings. security door was also not working properly and held open with a bar. Staff were not responsive during the restaurant, with expansive French food, with little/no choice for vegetarian options, save for a Thai dish. Breakfast was also expansive, but location was good (on cliff to English Channel) and about 70miles from Calais.

Sea view was marginal, reread the literature and you need the "panoramic view". Our view was between two buildings....... Otherwise it is a nice hotel with friendly staff and great food. Note that mobile internet signal was poor and the WiFi was next to useless, apparently it was the weather....... Our weather was poor so not too much to do but in good weather it must be great to explore the area, the valley down to the hotel has many wonderful

This hotel is next to the English Channel in the middle of nowhere. We had a very nice room next to the property entrance. While the setting was very nice there was constant noise from the resteraunt until it closed at 11 pm and then it started again shortly after daylight with several delivery trucks. There are some rooms away from the resteraunt that would probably be good, but don't stay in a room next to the property entrance.

Room small but comfort good until we showered in the morning & were unable to acquire any hot water. Restaurant for evening meal fair but very overpriced for the meal that was served, food edible but not exciting, waiting extremely poor & rude. The hotel setting is good overlooking the sea. Overall a very overrated establishment, I would not stay again.

We had a wonderful time, staying 2 nights. The rooms were very good and the food excellent. The staff were very friendly and tolerated my poor French admirably. We especially liked the individual Chalet we had on our first night. The location is marvellous and had an enjoyable time walking in the surrounding hilly woodland area.

Hotel Le Cise is in a wonderful location; our room, across the valley, maybe 250m, [beware the very steep path] was quirky but comfortable and provided the promised 'sea view', looking out south-east at the hotel/restaurant, sea and cliffs. The room was billed as a 'suite', but, not in reality. The bath sides were very high; anybody even slightly infirm, could not use it and there is no shower curtain, so water everywhere. The restaurant's menu is heavily fish and sea-food oriented with only two 'meat' dishes available at the time; fine for one of us, but not the other [Veal knuckle - not tried, and Rotie de Boeuf; tried, but not liked - beef, but not roasted as we know it; alternately tough, fat, stringy, fat, tough, all in a delicious sauce. The fishophile loved both of his [4-course] meals. Terrific wine list, good selection of beer and cider. One very disappointing issue was the overt reluctance and failure to replace used towels - at 240Euro/night NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

The hotel and location were unique. The hotel is perched on top of a cliff at Bois Le Cise and has a fantastic view across the English Channel. We were upgraded to a lovely room which had a modern/regency style. The meal was very enjoyable and the service impeccable.

Not easy to find and limited on site parking. I paid for a luxury room with sea view and I suppose thats exactly what I got! The view of the sea was to say the least minimal, though I could see water. All the staff I encountered where friendly and helpful though speaking little English. Minor problems with the room were quickly resolved. But the door proved difficult to lock and there was no milk or powder for the tea or coffee. The bath was more a novelty than top quality function and the lack of a shower cubical or highlevel bracket for the shower fitting made showering difficult. Ample toiletries, excellent towels and bathrobes did help. Plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable but as it was a double I was rather surprised by its two single duvets! The restaurant had a wide choice of meals and good service. The dinner I had was excellent. However breakfast was only partly ready by the advertised time of 7.30am and rather overpriced and not the widest choice I have been offered. In my opinion the experience was overpriced.
