Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal.

We were on the ground floor facing the car park with only a muslin curtain at the window which meant anyone passing the window or driving in and out of the car park could see straight into our room. No sense of privacy.

Very conveniently located to walk to the Martyr’s Village and perfectly well equipped.
The window shutters made a nice dark room and kept out all noise.
There’s a terrace and pétanque area at the rear.

Good especially if arriving by car. 10-15 minute taxi from train station outside of city Centre , or 20-30 min by bus. Away from city Centre is the only drawback

The staff here were friendly and check in was an easy process. The room was a good big size for 2 adults and a child. The location isn’t great, it’s about a 20 minute walk at least to the centre of town if you want to eat out. There is no restaurant at the hotel. We visited on a Sunday in August, it was very quiet and there were some areas that you didn’t really feel safe walking through to get to town.
It was also around 28 degrees when we were there, the hotel has no air conditioning although there was a fan in the room. However it was still very hot and none of us slept very well. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent. Some rooms have a view of a little stream outside. with a busy water vole building it’s home. Beware the lights in the room at night. Impossible to turn the bathroom light off as it is on a movement sensor.

This is a new hotel with everything very clean and modern.
