Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much.

Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful.

The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out

Great hotel in wonderful surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were at a wedding and the reception was there as well so it was perfect for us. For people wanting more facilties or to be near other restaurants it is out of the way so you need a car to get to anywhere.

Bad start. Hotels,.com email showed address as Les Garennes sur Loire, which does not exist. Actual address Juigne sur Loire. Result an hour of stress and unnecessary driving. Also hotel needs to decide is it Loire et Sens or Fief de la Thiore. Depends which sign you reach first. Good things - well spec'd room, plenty of storage space and good shower and bed. But no A/C when temperatures above 30c. They did however promptly provide a fan which helped. Staff pleasant and helpful ( except had to wait five minutes for someone to arrive at check-in desk). Food - good but not exceptional. And a bit slow - 2 hours for a 3 course meal may suit the French way but not ideal. Breakfast good but not for 16 euros. Only hot food scrambled eggs and bacon. Location and setting good for a relaxing break but again, no sitting room where one could relax and read. Lot of TV stations listed would not open, including BBC world. Too tired to complain so perhaps our fault. Easy to find once you know the right location and good for Angers and travelling south.

Room was not ready when we arrived at 7:00 pm we had to wait 45 minutes and the pool and fitness center were closed which was the whole reason we were staying here

We stayed for one night and made good use of the facilities, including the pool. The setting was great and the central gardens were very picturesque. The restaurant was closed for dinner, which we had been notified of in advance. But the breakfast was great. And reasonable.
