Novotel Lyon Centre Confluence Bord de Saone

Parking was easy at a cost. Room was great with river views. I would normally give a 5/5 however I feel the staff in the coffee shop/bar/restaurant let the hotel down. Most of the staff were very busy talking to each other and left guests waiting until they went up and had to asked for service. I thought it was just the italian way until I saw a few Italian guests go up and asked to be served. The food could be better as well. Only a small thing as the laurel is attached to a Shopping centre and there are restaurants across the bridge within walking distance.

AC didn’t work, tv remote didn’t work

The hotel is a good place to stay overnight on the way to the mountains. But if you want to explore the city of Lyon, it is far from the cultural centre and all the activities. Other than that the room was clean the beds were great and the breakfast just right!! I was impressed by the juice MN machine with healthy choices like carrots cucumbers, oranges, ginger etc.

Exactly what I would expect from a Novotel. No more, no less.

Room was beautiful! Great location linked to a commercial center and public transportation! Staff kind and thoughtful! Close to everything, outdoor terrace!

Breakfast was excelent.

We spent a weekend in Lyon at the Novotel and it was a lovely, relaxing stay. The car park was easily accessed and the room was clean and tidy. The staff were all very helpful. The food in the hotel was also very good.

Booked online 5mins before arriving, the hotel sent me directions to the hotels car park immediately. The carpark area for the hotel is very secure. Booking in was swift, drinks on the terrace was lovely overlooking the river. Clean room, large shower comfy bed. Overall a good, convenient stop off for us, now heading to the South. .

Not as clean as expected

Room not cleaned by 4PM. Lacking toiletries: body lotion and conditioner. No English TV channels. Service in the bar was non existent The bed was nice.

Nice service, friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast! Second time at the hotel, would return!

Clean and quiet

There are 4 cardio machines in the exercise room. Three of the four did not work for the 3 1/2 days I stayed here. The temperature in the exercise room was always over 25 degrees. Our room was far too warm. I attempted to adjust the thermometer in the room without success. When I asked at the desk about turning the temperature down, I was told that cannot be done. I was told all the rooms have to be on the heat setting or all the rooms had to be on the cold setting. The hotel was on the heat setting so there was nothing that could be done to cool down our room. The thermostat in my room could not make the room any cooler. For 3 1/2 days, either our room was too hot or we had to have the window wide open. This is a newly constructed hotel and there is essentially no control over the temperature of an individual room. Strange - and uncomfortable.

Hotel did not acknowledge my birthday even when i gave them prior notice before my arrival. Water and tea was not replenished in the room. Breakfast was ok would have liked more options. Requesteda boil egg to be made to order this was declined Staff didnt appear very friendly. Room was comfortable.

They gave us the wrong room from our booking, limited parking inside the hotel space. Carpet in hallways are black and dirty. Room service food 🍱 in hallways for 5 or more hours…

Nice and very convenient place. Rooms are spacious and clean, the only issue is the entrance of the hotel is very inconspicuous and makes it look less welcoming. Overall, a very good value
