Novotel Perpignan Rivesaltes

We got a friendly and efficient reception. Unfortunately, that proved to be the only good aspect of our stay. We received an email the day before arrival telling us that we should check in at the neighbouring Ibis hotel due to work on the Novotel reception. There was no mention of extensive work going on in the restaurant/bar area. I have no idea whether the restaurant was even open as signage directed you in to what looked like building work. Contrast this with another hotel on our trip where far more minor work was going on that had no effect on our stay. However, we received three messages prior to our stay informing us of work being carried out. I feel that we should have received far more pre stay information regarding the work and should have received it much earlier than the day before arrival. Our room looked dated and in need of a complete overhaul. It was far below the standard we’ve experienced at other Novotels. Very disappointing.

The hallways were worn and rather dirty, but the room and the lobby were very clean and pleasant. The pool was the best part—super clean and perfect temperature!

Poor breakfast terrible

Perfectly pleasant hotel, decent rooms, lacking much character but it's a chain hotel. Pool area a bit uninspiring. Good staff, a little pricey for what it is. Good access to the main highway, airport, town and beaches. Ideal as a business stop over.

Staff were nice although one of the waiters was a little too close to a 'Faulty towers' character. Food good but wine far too expensive and not great quality.

we booked to stay at your perpignan hotel and when we arrived in perpignan we were told we were at the wrong hotel as we should be at the riversalts hotel but i wasnt given this details so it took over 3.45 hours to find the right hotel

A smart modern hotel, conveniently situated close to the motorway.

Pleasant staff. Good size room. Quiet. Very close to motorway exit.

This is very convenient for travel to and from Spain. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant food is of good standard. The menu is in line with other Novotels but we have always found this hotel has provided better food than others. The reception staff were very helpful in finding us another hotel for our journey through France .

The location was the best part, but the service was an unexpected bonus. We really appreciated the kind personnel and helpfulness to make our short stay extremely comfortable.

Whilst travelling between 2 family homes in France and Spain, we find this hotel to be exactly right. Just inside France, most of our journey complete with easy access to the motorway. Just off the peaje or the N road. With a restaurant on site or another just around the corner. The rooms are always comfortable and clean and with 2 small children, the pull out sofa allows us all to sleep in the same room, comfortably.

The hotel is located outside Perpignan which was fine as I was visiting Fortresse de Salses and other nearby sights. The service was excellent and the staff friendly. The restaurant served nice meals, both dinner and breakfast. My room was very comfortable and quiet. The only "negative" thing I can think of is that the surrounding neighbourhood is not very interesting but this was not an issue at all for me and the extreme easy access by car to the hotel more than compensated for this.

Staff helpful but room, even the "nice" one given to us, was overpriced at 140.00 U.S. The room was good but the hallway carpet and the one in the room were well past needing replacement. The CEO of Accor would not care to stay here!

We traveled during the off season so the hotel was pretty sad looking but it is okay for a quick overnight stop. The breakfast was quote nice and the hotel staff is pleasant. We found a nice place for dinner in one of coastal towns nearby. Not luxury be any means but for a quick stop it works.

The hotel was well situated. Did not look as in photos and the rooms were old and tired. However, having sad that, it was what we needed as a family with two little girls making our way to Spain.

Good stay for the kids with the extra games in lobby. Pool would have been nice but weather not good. Staff were friendly on front desk. Restaurant dinner was ok but nothing amazing. Service staff were not overly friendly though. Good location to airport.

The reception worked allright and was helpful. Good bur simple food which was rather expensive. A simple chicken with french fries 18Euro.

Located right on the dual carriageway , about 8 miles North of Perpignan and miles from the nearest beach, so unsuitable for those without a car. Would only be suitable for business, not holiday, due to location. The only hotel we stayed at during out two week holiday which charged for wifi connection and expensive at that. Plenty of hotels and bars in the area offering free wifi access.
