Rent Cannes Meublés Gambetta

Very central location, near to the rail station, easy for uber or bolt, and just off Rue D'Antibes and La Croisette. The bakery below was great for breakfast treats, as well, the mini supermarket, Carrefour City Make sure to request a room with a window or you may end up with a windowless room as we did. No natural light so had to set an alarm to wake up.

Spacious, clean rooms! Very secure property! It was a little tricky finding the entrance door from the street and not a lot of people in the nearby shops spoke English but once I found the entrance, it was smooth sailing from there on

Room stunk of smoke and made everything smell of smoke! Air conditioning didn’t work.

clean shared bathroom, nice shared kitchen, 2k walk from train so quite walkable for us with backpacks, Conad grocery not far away and walking access on Pisa Wall right across from Conad store entrance was great for walking to Tower and center.

It was a good stay..Booked for 4 nights. Airconditioning of the room is very good. We were allowed to check in early. It would have been better if we have a better towels and pillows. You may or may notl get used to the noise of the train coming in and out of Cannes as said on previous reviews. Grocery stone & bakeshop are steps away.

Very good position as not too far from the beach. Clean, stylish and comfortable. Many supermarkets, restaurants and shops near by. I've stayed here twice and will definitely stay here again. Four floors of rooms. Internet connection was not very strong where I was on the fourth floor. Would not be so good for elderly or disabled people as there is no lift, but otherwise ideal. Not far from the train station for exploring the rest of the coast..

Extremely close to the train station.Desirable area and feels safe. It is vibrant! Lots of shops and restaurants. Staff was exceptional. Polite, helpful and accommodating.

Really great location literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. Only issue was one of the showers, it was clogged and would nearly flood the bathroom. Had to turn off the shower every 3 mins to let it drain. But other than that everything was nice and clean and my friends and I had an amazing time

Excellent location, close to restaurants, shops and everything you'll need. The room and bathroom looks recently renovated and is kept clean, loft bed took a bit of getting used to although was comfortable and BIG! I was on a business trip so didn't spend a lot of time in the room other than to sleep, if you're looking to spend time hanging out in your room you may want consider something a bit bigger. I'd certainly be happy to stay here again.

Nice place, comfortable bed. Did not realize t was a smoking-allowed hotel. My room did vaguely smell of cigarette smoke and so did all of my clothing when I left. Overall, good experience for the price.

Really can't fault the location. Within touching distance of everything Cannes has to offer. However proximity comes at a cost and what the blurb doesn't tell you is that the property backs onto the train line and highway with rear rooms literally 10 metres from the tracks. Great if you are an avid train-spotter, bad if you think high voltage cables give you cancer. To be honest the rumbling of passing trains is bearable to extent you just learn to tolerated it as white noise. What wasn't acceptable however was the disturbance caused by other occupants. Okay so it's a period building and so there aren't modern standards of soundproofing. The issue is the noise resonant through the fabric of the building and you really are at the mercy of the other guests. Frequently driven spare by what sounded like a herd of elephants stampeding upstairs every evening and every morning - I can only speculate they where REALLY struggling to get to grips with their sofa bed! Conversations from the communal areas and adjoining room were also perfectly audible I felt at time I should join in. One last cautionary note, it is a pet friendly establishment which is great :) however dogs barking and howling for their absentee owners less so. It's a decent enough establishment. Rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and presentable. Cosy and comfortable(even if mine did smell like an ashtray!). And still represents reasonable value for money.

This property is in a great location, minutes walk from the train, as that is how you will probably arrive. Outside the door is an outdoor market on certain days, and there is a supermarket just across the plaza, or two more 3 blocks east. Being an apartment style there is no daily service, but the place is clean, and it was very nice having a little apartment in Cannes. A little tight for two, but I think they have some bigger units as well, but all in all, if you do not need a swank cannes hotel, you can't go wrong. The owners messaged me with directions, how to enter the property, and left the key in the room. Very accommodating!

Fab location 5 mins from station and to the beach. Market on the doorstep eacg morning. Rooms were comfortable and fairly modern, kitchenette was ideal, although we were in a double bunk bed so as long as thats ok (request one without if not). You could hear the trains passing but this didnt affect our sleep. Unfortunately our balcony was unusable really due to noise/smell of trains and walls around it so no view anyway. However for budget stays I would recommend! Tip: the sign is only small so it was difficult to find at first, it's right next to a bakery on your left if you're coming from the station direction!

this hotel is amazing in the center of Cannes would recommend it for anybody who want to discover Cannes in the best way

Great place to stay clean and the hotel clerk was very kind and thoughtful

Hotel is close to train station. Neighborhood is a bit rough but we felt safe, just a few blocks you find high end shops and restaurants. Small market right outside on weekends. Rang buzzer on outside door and manager answered and let us in. He was friendly. Free use of washer and dryer. No breakfast. Small room, loft type bed on top only so had to use ladder to get to bed. Small bathroom. Bed was not made but clean sheets available. No daily housekeeping but extra supplies are available. Small kitchenette. Fairly soundproof but right next to train tracks which could be heard and felt. Would return again.

The attic room is nice and clean, decorated with taste. The ceiling is a little bit to low for an average high person (few times I hit my head :-)) but still acceptable. However, the odor from the artificial carpeting was extremely strong and really irritating. Once you open the windows gets better but then the noise from the street start to be really high. The carpeting should be changed as soon as possible.

Great location , close to beach shopping ,bars and train station facilities in room was good Had access to washer and dryer which was great as was travelling around Europe for a few weeks so fab to be able to wash clothes Internet was fast Staff helpful and friendly Had a great stay would def return

The landlord was very welcoming and friendly, helping us find a free parking spot and letting us borrow a beach umbrella and mat. Would definately recommend!
