An amazing place. I read some of the negative reviews prior to booking and given the high standards that we were met with it hard to believe some of the comments. The room was finished to a high standard and was magnificently equipped. It’s right on the beach and the pool facilities looked great although we did not have time to use. We will 100% stay here again.

Great spot on the beach. The indoor pool was a hit with our kids. Tidy and clean, good for family with kitchen and bedrooms. We had a car so was convenient and easy to get places.

IF YOU ARE ENGLISH, DISABLED OR HAVE ANY CHEST CONDITION - STAY AWAY FROM REINE MARINE ST MALO We were returning customers to this hotel. I am disabled and I have a chest condition. I had a conversation with FERNANDA at Reine Marine St Malo to say I could probably manage without disabled facilities in the room in order to continue with our booking. She appears to have taken this to mean I could descend stairs (I can’t) and I could deal with a chlorine atmosphere for 3 days since the room was next to the indoor pool (I can’t - I have had pneumonia 4 times). When we explained the problem on arrival we were refused an alternative room and we had no option than to book into the Mercure St Malo Balmoral - THANKS FOR NOTHING REINE MARINE - THE WORST SERVICE EVER IN 40 YEARS - AND I WAS A RETURNING CUSTOMER - I WILL NEVER USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN - to demonstrate how utterly not on the ball these people are - when we got back to the UK we had three emails asking how our stay was and if we’d come back for winter - UTTERLY USELESS

We enjoyed our time in St Malo on the beach. We also had fun using the pool. We did find the 2 bedroom apartment to be a little small, but it was still nice to have a kitchen to use for meals. I did find that the cleanliness of the apartment could improve. There was a dust pile on the floor when we first entered the room and many of the dishes needed to be scrubbed before we could use them.

Hotel was a very long way from the city centre Room was not serviced once in our 3 nigjt stay The apartment we stayed in looked tired and dated and was in need of some maintenance with wires exposed where a ceiling rose was hanging down

Situated about 2 miles from the old town...walkable if reasonably fit. We are 4 women friends and we stayed in 2 bedroom appartment. It was clean, well equipped with sufficient space for a short stay. No restaurant and bar facilities limited but plenty of places to eat...may need car/taxi. Good indoor pool, sun terrace and access to lovely beach. Pleasant English, Spanish and German speaking staff. We had such a lovely time.

This property is right on the beach at the extreme eastern end of the St Malo strip, so out of town. The units were adequate with no frills, but everything felt a bit well used. Basic Kitchen facilities were all there though, dining area provided as well as outdoor balcony seating, beds had strange stretch base sheet, wi fi was not strong. There is a indoor pool and spa that we didn't use. We didn't have a visit from housekeeping at all during our 3 night stay. Bathroom in only fair condition. Great for beach walks and budget family stays. We didn't really experience any customer service although front desk staff did speak English.
