CheckIn und CheckOut verliefen gut, freundlich und kompetent. Mein Zimmer (#220) war eines der neueren und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider hatte ich sehr viele Mitbewohner - überwiegend Marienkäfer, aber auch Spinnen und Mücken. Aus meiner Sicht ist nicht nachvollziehbar, warum ein Hotel im Wald gelegen KEINE Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern hat. Leider wären an vielen Ecken der Decken Spinnweben zu erkennen! Der Sauna- und Poolbereich sind sehr schön und bieten eine gute Möglichkeit zum abschalten. Lustig wurde es im Restaurant. Anscheinend wurden an diesem Abend zwar junge und motivierte aber noch nicht wirklich kompetente Mitarbeiter eingesetzt, welche teilweise etwas "lost" waren. Hier finde ich es für die jungen MA sehr schade, dass sie quasi alleine gelassen werden und keine erfahrene Person beratend und anleitend zur Seite steht.

We had a really lovely stay with our dog. Very nice hotel, quiet, clean, spacious, good breakfast. And a lovely surprise for our dog was waiting for her in the room: a toy a treats. Very sweet. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is beautiful, and it's beautifully decorated. From our first steps in the door, service was absolutely remarkable. They offer a fantastic buffet breakfast with cold and hot foods - very tasty, and very convenient. Our ONLY complaint was that the bed was so hard we didn't get any sleep for the two nights we were there, but we still plan on returning to this lovely hotel (we'll just bring a pillow top with us!) We really loved our time here and in the area - thank you for a beautiful stay!

Second stay at this hotel (different owner) and it is as beautiful as we remembered. The hotel is located in a forest along the Main river. There are plenty of trails that lead to quaint farming towns, and wind along the river. Bikes are available for rent. Our room was spacious and clean - very comfortable. Our view of the forest and town across the Main was awesome. Breakfast was great! It included a varied selection of fresh food, coffee, tea, juice - and champagne! Our only 'not-so-great' experience was that there was an event on Saturday that lasted into the evening and next morning. Our dinner (service and quality of food) was not as great as the first night. I think kitchen/serving staff were too busy, and priority was not given to hotel guests. Overall, this was a special visit. We hope to return soon!
