Everything was perfect except for the location! Be aware if you don't have a car. I paid a lot of money for the taxi. The nearer metro station is 30 minutes on a walk The hotel is very good and comfortable

What a nightmare stay! The entire place reeks of cigarette smoke. The staff were incredibly rude, hostile even. Also, check your bill, they tried to charge me for several additional services. The hotel maids kicked me out before checkout time, because they wanted to finish early. The area is a dangerous area. I would stay anywhere else, if I were to visit again. Even a cardboard box would be nicer than this place.

We checked in at 1 am, after our flight was delayed and driving 6 h . The night desk staff said “ we have no rooms for you since you arrived late,” I informed him that I had a reservation and room was prepaid. He laughed and said “ I was just joking!” This was unprofessional and inappropriate. He then said free breakfast is available from 6 to 10 am. When we check out , the front desk staff said breakfast is 19 euros. I informed her that I was told it was free. She said it’s not and would not waive the charges.

very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant in a very strange area! As a regular Best Western guest I always book them for a pretty much guaranteed great stay. However this stay was entirely ruined by the deputy manager who apparently had a bee in his bonnet!! The manner that we were shouted at due to a mix up regarding check out that was nothing to do with us. The manager shouted at us demanding that we can’t leave without paying, Even though we were not totally leaving the hotel simply going for a breath of fresh air outside. The manager was totally out of order as there was no way we were going to “run away without paying” as the hotel had all of our suitcases and luggage, Even my wallet, Passport and £1000+ of work equipment. A total moron of a manager, We wouldn’t stay again with this exact hotel which is a shame as it’s very good otherwise. A formal complaint will be made to Best Western Hotel Group. I can only imagine that we were treated in this way due to being British visitors.

All the amenities I wanted, nice restaurant and a McDonald’s across the parking lot, in room safe and refrigerator (perfect for our medicine) American TV stations and most important Free shuttle to and from Airport so very easy to get into town from the airport. Very friendly staff. Only odd thing towel rack too high had to use hanger to get my towels. Nice walk in shower very comfortable rooms. I will stay here again next time I travel to Amsterdam
