east Hotel Hamburg

This is a very nice hotel. Stylish and good size room. Close to St Pauli for transport. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (allowed me an early check in - thanks). Great breakfast. Overall excellent.

Great location and very high quality rooms and restaurants. The pictures of the lobby etc. are surreal, but quite literary beautiful. Pictures don't do justice. Its a great spot. Particularly the bar, where half of the patrons are local residents. Best restaurant bar in the entire area. It is preferential to adults.

Honestly one of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at. Super chic, very comfortable bed, huge room and a beautiful view of a small garden just outside the window. Water pressure was great, shower is huge, and the staff was helpful, professional and friendly. It’s relatively easy to get to and there are plenty of cool spots to walk to in the neighborhood, but it’s not on a super busy street. The only knock I have is that the hair dryer wasn’t working so my partner had to deal with some wet hair. 100% I’ll stay here again

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Hamburg

The room design is different, we liked it. We had a lovely garden view. We stayed on weeknights and the club/bar area was quiet. The days were very warm the last week of August, and the AC was adequate. Apparently most accommodations don't have AC, so we felt lucky. We walked everywhere from our hotel to see the sights. Train station close enough to walk, but Uber was easier! The location was ideal for us.

Beautiful property, close to public transportation and a pharmacy to buy any incidentals you need. Had sushi for room service, was excellent. Would absolutely stay here again

Very unique décor. Fun. Only negative was that despite there being an elevator, the hallway had series of stairs that made moving heavy luggage difficult.

The toilet and shower have a "funny" smell

We asked for a quiet room prior to staying and they put us above the bar on our arrival on Friday evening. It’s quite a party bar which is fun when you are downstairs but not so much fun when trying to sleep. There was also a bad smell in the toilet from the drains and the AC wasn’t working. I went to complain and they said they had some problems in the hotel that day and this was the only room available so we had to stay there. The following day coming back from sightseeing in the afternoon we were stopped by a lady from reception who said she had another room available if we wanted to move to a quiet room, but our new room wouldn’t be available for at least another hour but she needed our room back so could we pack up and occupy ourselves for an hour - we declined as it just wasn’t convenient for us. We went up to our room, and we then couldn’t get in - the door lock had gone - they got maintenance out who said it would a 15 min job but it got to near 45 mins and i went to check and he said he would be some time as the complete mechanism had gone. So I went back to Reception who managed to get me another room (they did give us a voucher for the bar whilst we waited). So we ended in relocating to another room, where the AC didn’t work again! In a comedy of errors we then had a knock at the door and a dessert was delivered to us compliments of the hotel - the note with it was welcoming another guest back to the hotel - clearly not meant for us!

Great stay. Highly recommended.

Hotel was amazing... only problem was, in the evening around the bar area i was told i could not wear shorts, even though it was so hot in hamburg during our stay and i was a guest staying at the hotel. I was made to go and change attire or i could not be around the bar. I have never experienced this before.

Lovely Boutique Style Hotel a few Minutes walk from the Madness of the Reepabhan, Very Clean and Room had everything you’d need.

The hotel is conveniently located near St. Pauli's bars and clubs (and more dodgier scenes) but stands in stark contrast to them, with a modern, elegant and extremely trendy design and vibe. This applies to the fusion of modern materials and colors with the old industrial red brick and large arched windows, as it does to the lobby and hippest lively bar that was completely full on the weekend nights, with a dj, Japanese food and creat cocktails. Rooms are beautiful too and comfortable. We were in the Splash room which we loved, but for those looking for complete privacy - beware: the AMAZING bath tub IS open to the rest of the room (the toilet, however, isn't). And we would have loved to have a few more channels in English on TV.

The room was ready before noon, which for overseas travelers is a great feature due to lack of sleep and jet lag. Check in easy. The property needs some updating and some decorative elements are heavy and out of fashion.

All of the staff I encountered were friendly, and check-in/out were done efficiently. Room was a good size and design was unique throughout the property. Location is convenient with a short walk to the U-bahn Reeperbahn.

Hotel is great, great rooms and great location. Restaurant is not good at all in fact it is worse then that it is rubbish and to be avoided. Fortunately lots a good places to eat close by.

Its spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed and in great location.. perfect value to price
