Good hotel to stay in. Room was spacious with a big balcony. It was very comfortable and clean for my family, one toddler and a small dog. Breakfast was ok. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was pretty good.

This is such a cute and cozy place to stay. Our family of five enjoyed a beautiful evening in the Biergarten. The staff was very friendly and kind. There is a museum across the street that we would have loved to have visited if we had the time. We would definitely stay again!

Clean, reasonable hotel, fairly centrally located near the Chiemsee in Siegsdorf. Staff were very friendly and competent. Breakfast was very reasonable by German standards and we ate two meals in the hotel restaurant and they were both quite good. I'd stay there again.

A nice place. Simplistic breakfast. Very clean room. Very smooth check-in and check-out. The free WiFi had issues during the second night of my stay. The next time I am in Siegsdorf I plan on staying at the Alte Post again.

Stayed here two nights and it was just OK, but not great and would not stay again. Close to highway (5 mins) and looks lovely from outside but apart from the initial greeting from the gentleman (owner?) the service was not very friendly. No welcome feeling. The rooms were OK but the bed was much too soft. The bathroom and shower was good though. Also hardly any furniture in the rooms. Breakfast was minimal with not much choice. Ok for one night passing through but not for longer stay.

We were looking for a hotel in the general area, and Hotel Alte Post came up. It looked interesting, so we took a chance. So glad we did. It has definite Old World charm but with modern amenities. Very comfortable, great outdoor garden with good food, nice breakfast and very polite, helpful staff. Would gladly return!

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It came up under Berchesgaden but it is closer to Herren Chiemsee. It is older, the room was large but plain, and there was some traffic noise in the evening. It was very quiet while sleeping. The manager was very friendly. We had dinner there out in the patio. Friendly service and a good meal. Breakfast was good, typically European with meat, cheese, yogurt, and cold cereal. I loved the older section of the hotel. You had a sense of history.
