We have been traveling all over Europe, the staff at this hotel was the nicest! They were ready to help in any way possible to make our stay comfortable. The location was ideal, 2 min walk to the railway station and the bus is right across the street. Nice restaurants close to the location.

It seems to be family-owned. The staff is fantastic, very cordial and friendly. They provided ear plugs, I’m assuming because of the train and bus station across the street but at night time it wasn’t too bad. Just an occasional train once in a while. We were parking on a weekend so we had plenty of street parking options since the meters aren’t in effect on Sunday and there seemed to be a garage not too far away. Good distance from Cologne and Bonn. Breakfast was delicious.

The stay we had at Hotel Das Kronprinz was superb, lovely clean room, excellent breakfast, and really close to a well served train station. Staff were friendly, and tried all they could to assist us, despite language being a barrier. I recommend highly for anyone looking to explore Cologne or the surrounding areas on a budget.

Very close and convenient to Regional Train Station with connections to Cologne, even Düsseldorf and Aachen (<2hr away). Much less traffic noise than expected. Great breakfast. Easy walk to Troisdorf shops and restaurants, nearby parks.

Very accessible as it’s 3 minutes walk to train station, property is in front of bus stop, near to police station and town is around 5-10 minutes walk. Also there’s some restaurants around the area. Friendly staff, good breakfast though there were no other milk choices when I asked so opted for black coffee instead. Was upgraded as there was weak to none internet coverage in my room, which I am so very grateful. Overall, great hotel and will definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel!! Breakfast was excellent and included. Rooms are big and with air conditioning. Beds are super comfortable. Very well located for all the activities we wanted to do. Close to the metro and a supermarket. Price was great as well. Highly recommended.

We spent a night in Troisdorf and picked this hotel and overall it was a great night spent. We arrived late on Sunday and used the safety lock to take the keys and enter in. The room was spacious and our sofa bed was made for the kids. Spotlessly clean room and overall a very convenient stay. Only thing that we had an issue with was the noise through the walls from the service elevator (I think) which did not allow us a thotoughly peaceful sleep. Breakfast had hot meals and wonderful.
