Excellent. Reception team and staff very helpful, great lake side location, with a large verandah/deck to sit and enjoy a meal, drink, or just the view. Room was very clean and comfortable. Limited on-site parking, but there is a large lake side car park across the road, Eur 4 or 5 for overnight parking. Dinner was one of he best we have enjoyed, meat cooked perfectly to carve-with-a spoon tenderness. Buffet breakfast was extensive and thoroughly enjoyable.

Nice hotel - near the top of the market, but the price point reflects that. Only concerns we had were the hotel did not have air conditioning (we could open the window, but that would not help if there was a heat wave) and secondly there is very limited parking - except for the parking lot across that street that is paid parking, but often full with tourists etc.

Staff were friendly an helpful, room was clean and quiet with a decent view. Hotel location was fantastic, bordering 2 lakes and with easy access to the city. The restaurant menu is a little adventurous and somewhat steeply priced however.

Found this hotel in a small village just 1 hours from Hamburg. Only reason for picking it was that all others were fully booked.
But it is a great hotel at the lakeside in Ratzeburg. Nice large rooms, perfect breakfast and dinner.

A great location, if you get a room that doesn't face the road! Lake views fantastic, breakfast good and dinner excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable - recently refurbished. But the traffic noise - constant. A great pity about the noise because the hotel does everything else for me.
