Clean, friendly. Loved the little touches like water in the fridge

In an industrial area next to a container storage yard. Very new highway exit, but hard to tell it is a hotel from outside. Very clean but Spartan. No soap in shower (one by sink which they expect you to use for shower as well, but you would have to exit the shower to get some soap, so not sure hot that works). We had not brought our own soap, so we had to skip showering. Breakfast was simple but good. Service at breakfast also good. Front desk was closed before 7 pm so key left in lock box outside.

Unfortuntely, the staff just wont return my emails about a simple inquiry.

Room not clean, sheets were not dried properly and smelled bad. Staff is friendly, lunch to go was great.

I visited this hotel at two different occasions during Covid lockdowns, transiting through Germany. They made a contactless check-in (got the room key from a code box), and gave takeaway breakfast. With free parking and wifi it's an exceptionally good deal for a basic accomodation near Munich. I appreciated the free beer in the fridge!

My husband and I would definitely recommend this place. Very clean and organized, spacious room and great breakfast. The staff was just extremely nice and helpful. We love it!

Quite location, good breakfast, basic room and amenities but value for money in Munich

Bed and bath rooms very clean. There's a mini-fridge for longer stays. The breakfast spread was better than most places. Check-in easy and fast. They even let me in a little early than posted time. I have no complaints about the hotel other than it's location. It's 30 minutes away from Munich central, though not far from the mart. If you are driving it is close to major highways going north and south. I was on foot so it was a ten minute hike from the bus stop. Overall, I was happy with the place, just not where it's located.

Hotel Herian is near the convention center so we saved a few dollars staying there when there wasn't an exhibition underway. While more remote from Munich center than most may prefer, we had a car and the hotel was excellent for our needs. The staff was gracious, informative about the area, and accommodating. The hotel has few amenities but as vacationers that wasn't important to us. It appears to be geared toward the business traveler offering clean and spacious rooms, free internet, and traditional German breakfast buffet. There is protected underground parking if desired. We had been traveling for weeks and needed items washed. We were pleasantly surprised by Bridgette's (front desk) reply to our question about laundry services. Bridgette shared that the housekeeping staff would be willing to wash a limited number of items for free and only asked that we give them a small tip for their efforts which we did willingly. Again, the only criticism .. if we can call it that... is that takes more time to get to Munich Center using public transportation because of its location. With our care, we were able to drive to the local train station about 10 minutes away, park for free, and ride into town for the day. Bridgette volunteered the money-savings tip to purchase a GROUP day pass that allows 4 adults to travel on any bus, tram or train in the inner circle for about 14 Euros. That was a bargain! Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant 2-night stay with attentive staff.

Neat and clean hotel but quiet far from the city.

Hotel strangely placed in what seems to me building designed for offices rather then hotel... But for night or two while traveling - it is OK. My room was rather large and clean...and it had basic amenities. Very nice touch with complimentary sparkling water and beer in fridge !!! Free WI-FI worked great. Breakfast included in a room rate was in rather small dining room but sufficient.
