Hotel IV Jahreszeiten Lübeck

Great place to stay overnight and have a nice dinner and easy access to main autobahn.

Good value stay in a modern hotel within a reasonable distance of Lübeck centre. Car parking is right next to the hotel and plentiful at a reasonable cost. The hotel was really very clean and the room we had was spacious and airy. The breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant which has some of the best views you will see when having a breakfast anywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Very clean and modern, walkable distance to the town and river. Really nice rooftop bar with great panoramic views. Good choice of food and drinks. Good access to Travemunde port - less than 15 minute drive to the check in point.

We wondered why the property had 4 stars. For a German hotel having room cleanup every second day, no to very poor sound isolation between the rooms and finally a single elevator for its 8 floors, I would say it was a three stars hotel in outskirts of the city centre. The roof top restaurant was okey for the panorama view but this is it.

Good location for a stopover

Location is convenient right off the Autobahn and close to some fast food options. However, parking is a problem. There is a small parking right next to the hotel but driving in and out and the parking area are tight spaces especially if you drive a longer car. It was also not clear how or how much to pay for parking and we assumed that it was for free or would be somehow added to the bill. The staff at the check-in desk did not mention anything about parking. Came to learn that there are signs and a machine to pay but since we drove in and out in the dark did not see any of it. The company that owns the parking apparently takes pictures of the cars driving in and out but you do not get a parking ticket that you can pay when you drive into the parking lot and signage is difficult to notice especially when arriving at night. Anyhow, they are now asking me to pay 54 Euros for the 28 minutes I parked to unload. There was a terrible smell on the floor that my room was located on. They offer a breakfast buffet, which was ok. I have stayed at other hotels in that city and won't be back here.

This hotel is a great modern hotel not far from the city center. The top of the hotel is where you have an amazing breakfast in the morning and excellent dinner options at night while offering a great view from the eighth floor. Staff is great and parking is right there, though expensive. The room is clean and comfortable.

Really great suite for a family of 4. Great beds and bathroom + big bathtub.

Breakfast content options are weak. It is 4-5 stops far away from lubeck central.

Everything was good, nice view around restaurant, would come back again.

Disappointed - poor value for the money spend. - Router on 7. floor did not work and switched rooms because of it. - A/C in room on 3.floor did not work and staff was unable to get it to work - the room stayed at 77F with high humidity. - Sewer smell on the 3. floor that was intense for one afternoon. - Glas elevator on outside building is the only elevator - with hight anxiety it might be better to ask for a room on a lower level. - Restaurant and staff were exceptional! - Staff at the desk was not prepared to communicate effectively and respond to problems in a meaningful way. - Parking $ 12 / day with in and out privileges but entry is tight and not easy to maneuver with a larger car. - Not a central location and somewhat sketchy at night. - Some food options/supermarket, gas station, bakery, bank in walking distance. - No gym in the hotel. - Shower water spilled out of shower area, glasses in bathroom not clean and appeared just wiped out and not exchanged. - No phone in the rooms - there is no option to call downstairs to the reception for any issues or if anything is missing. - Hallways were hot with a rubbery smell. - In my opinion poor value for expensive rooms and overpriced parking! I picked the hotel because of the location but next time I will stay in one of the other hotels that I have used in the past and just drive more. The only thing I enjoyed here was the breakfast in the restaurant - otherwise it was aggravating.

Small room. No window out. Just to a catwalk. Noisie. And shower room to small at the sink. No way this is one 4 star hotel

The heater was centrally controlled and for some reason set for 27 degrees. The person at the reception at night could not help. It was impossible to sleep in that heat and

Arrived around one a clock in the night and had booked a double room for us but in the room was only one pillow and one duvet. Luckily we where tired and slept well anyway

We were quite disappointed. It was the most expensive hotel of our road trip and not even half as good as the others. It didn’t look like the photos at all, and it was awkward to think it’s a four stars. When we arrived I thought it was the wrong hotel, it’s in an industrial area on a busy road with weird cheap casinos, like a motel in an American movie. the room was freezing, we asked the reception to stop the air conditioning, the guy was nice and stopped it. But it didn’t work at all and cold air was still blasting right at us. Going to the only elevator, we saw a sign which said the rooftop was closed due to an event (we booked the hotel specifically for this rooftop, as they advertise it as their best selling point). We didn’t get any heads up per email or when checking in. We booked a room upstairs to have a nice view of the city, we had a nice view on a big noisy road and saw some buildings far away. To walk to the actual city it was ok, but you’re definitely not staying in the city. Parking was 12€ a day which was ok. Breakfast was nice (and finally got to see the last floor). Overall I would recommend this hotel if it was half price and advertised as a 3 stars, because it wasn’t so terrible, the bed was comfy and the pillows too, it was just far from our expectations.

Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung, nur fehlen Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee, Tee, usw. zum selbst zubereiten. Bad Accessoires fehlen z.B. Duschhaube, Kosmetiktücher und Lotion. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es nur Aufbackware, keine frischen Brötchen. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden, aber ein bisschen eng. Tolle Aussicht über Lübeck vom 8. Stock (Bar/Restaurant). Trotz alledem war das gesamte Personal nett, freundlich und kompetent.

We only stayed 1 night here but couldn’t fault it. It had parking and an electric charge point for our car which was an additional bonus. Staff were very friendly.
