The room was great - clean with comfortable bed and bedding. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed the breakfast. Lots of choices, all fresh, including cereal, muesli, fresh fruit, selection of breads, eggs and bacon, cold cuts and cheeses. Also a nice selection of teas and coffee/espresso. There was nothing else that I would have wanted. I saw that another guest complained that there were no eggs, but I never experienced that during my stay. I found that the staff was on top of things, replenishing as needed and cleaning up after guests.
The only point that I wasn't thrilled with was the parking. I was only able to park on the premises one night. I had to find parking on the street otherwise, which was doable if you return to the hotel later in the evening. It is a challenge during the day, so you may have to utilize paid parking, which is available.
Despite the parking, I would definitely stay at Lücke again and recommend without hesitation.

Hotel Lucke is a quality small hotel, a role model example. The Hotel does an excellent job in attention to details. The check-in is seamless, accepts all major credit cards including AMEX, the free internet is superb and works throughout the property without issues, the rooms are small but very comfortable and exceptionally clean. (The bed is a bit stiff however, which is common for German hotels). The sauna on 2nd floor is outstanding. The cozy lobby restaurant serves quality good food and drinks. The breakfast is small, but good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You cannot go wrong staying at Hotel Lucke when in Rheine.

Das Hotel ist sehr nett, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Frühstück übersichtlich aber gut und ausreichend. Nur der Lärm, der von der Ems kommt, führt dazu, dass man nachts nicht lüften kann. Schade. Ansonsten gerne wieder.

Schönes kleines Hotel direkt am Fluss und in der Innenstadt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Frühstück, was für die Grösse dieses Hotels schon aussergewöhnlich ist. Direkt in der Innenstadt, somit kann man abends auch noch in die Stadt zu Fuss gehen
