Hotel Martha Dresden

Good size and comfortable room. Pillows were as thin as tissues although overall, very happy with the hotel

I did not partake of Breakfast. Parking was righr accross the street. 4 blocks to the Christmas market and all the public transportation. Constantine was super helpful at the reception!

Super nice place! Love the location and cozy atmosphere. Staff was very cheerful and attentive. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Would definitely stay again!

Had a nice 3-day stay. Breakfast was exceptional. While the carpet shows some wear and tear, the room was very spacious and bright with large windows.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We needed a sheet because the duvets are a bit too hot, and the receptionist found one for us. The hotel has lovely sitting areas and woodwork in the halls. The breakfast choices were very good, and the dining room was lovely. The tile work in our bathroom was beautiful and bright. We loved the location, a couple of blocks from a main street with a bridge to the old town area and trams to all parts of town.

Martha Hotel is well situated in the inner Neustadt about 15 mins walk from the Altstadt with all its cultural attractions. The walk includes the Haupstrasse, tree lined and attractive. Reception staff at the Martha were exceptionally helpful & friendly. We really enjoyed our stay with them - the modest size of the hotel helps the welcome. Highly recommended.

This is a nice hotel. It is very clean. The staff are very courteous and helpful. It has a serene air about it- nice to start and end busy days. It is a good location and easy walking to places of interest. Also close to a pedestrian greenway where you can sit and stroll. It is just a couple of blocks from the Neustadt train station (you may have to connect to the Hauptbanhof, one stop away, to get to some places like Prague) and close to tram lines. You can rent a bicycle which is good for getting around Dresden. The breakfasts are good, if a bit heavy on meats and high fat options (but you can arrange for personal preferences). The dining room is very nice in an old fashioned way and there are always flowers and candles and you can eat in the patio. (Next door is a wonderful restaurant dedicated to potato cuisine.) The bedding is down pillows and duvets. The rooms are nice but mine was not designed for maximum use - ie there was a big couch taking up a lot of room but you could not sit on it to watch TV because of the placement. I was surprised that there were no English language news stations. The bathroom was a bit skimpy. I am slender but had to swivel under the sink to sit on the commode. Also the shower is very small (don't try to lean over to pick up that dropped bar of soap - deep knee bends necessary). But all in all I am comfortable recommending it.

This was an excellent hotel in every respect. If I returned to Dresden, I would want to stay in this hotel again.

Es war alles sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehrfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Sehr gut, freundlicher Service

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstückbuffet, zentrale Lage, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Alt- und Neustadt (auch Weihnachtsmärkte) in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Genügend Restaurants in der Umgebung vorhanden. Auch der öffentliche Verkehr (Bahn und Tram) in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Sehr sympathisches Hotel, sauber, gepflegt. Ruhige Lage. von den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln 5-8 Geh-Minuten entfernt. wir hatten Regenwetter, war daher mit Schirm und Gepäck etwas mühsam. (Nächstes Mal: Taxi) Das Personal ist höflich und hilfsbereit. SEHR gutes Restaurant im Haus!!! Nette und kompetente Bedienung. Aus Schweizer-Sicht zu sehr moderaten Preisen eine exzellente Küche! Kleine Weinkarte, jedoch gut bestückt. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer, diese Wahl war richtig, - würden wir weiterempfehlen.

Eshat mir genau so gut gefallen wie beim 1.Mal. Liegt sehr günstig :Altstadt, Straßenbahnen,S-Bahn. Ruhige Lage ,gutes Frühstücksbüfett. Alle guten Dinge sind drei ich komme noch einmal!
