Zentral gelegen in einem schönen Stadtviertel und trotzdem ruhig, von einer Parkanlage umgeben. Historie des Mittelalterlichen trifft auf das Moderne! Das Frühstück war hervorragend (nicht nur wegen des guten Kaffees), die Betten bequem, das Personal freundlich. Abends kann man einen schönen Spaziergang am Rhein machen und/oder gemütlich in einem Lokal sitzen. Was will man mehr?

What a wonderful place to stay; close to the Düsseldorf airport and yet so close to an historical beautiful small town with good restaurants, a bookshop, and the Rhine nearby.

Stayed as part of a trip to the Euros. The hotel was a €18 fare from Dusseldorf Airport, and arrival at hotel was easy and straightforward. I was in a single room that was clean, quiet, nice bathroom…….everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast service was plentiful with a good choice of hot and cold foods. Transport to the centre of Dusseldorf via train was €3.40 with the station approx 5 mins walk from the hotel. Lovely part of the city too that is perfect for a lazy day in this part of Dusseldorf

Really lovely building. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Nice modern rooms. Good breakfast. The only slight downside is the rooms/corridors aren’t very sound proofed so it was quite noisy at points.

The hotel was extremely impressive - a restored old building with nice clean rooms. The only thing that it lacked was a good bar for all guests to congregate, but there was a lounge area in the basement where you could self-serve drinks, but it was very quiet.

I liked the old building, great character. The staff were very helpful. Location was fantastic, very short walk to local restaurants for dinner. Tram, busses and taxis were also all very close by, mere 2 or 3 minutes from the front door.

Great place to stay! Traveled to Dusseldorf on business. Didn't want to stay in a chain hotel. This hotel is certainly unique, and the price to stay there was reasonable. Staff very friendly. Not far from the airport.
