Beautiful and well run hotel right on the Rhine. Steps from the railway station. Delicious fresh food and drink including wine made by the family that runs the hotel. Gorgeous terrace overlooking the river. Comfortable rooms.

I really like this hotel, the bath was a bit small but everything else was great. The view from our room was beautiful. The hotel restaurant has AMAZING food, high quality and delicious with good prices. It is walkable to many sight seeing locations such as the city center, wineries, amazing lift to top of the mountain and nature hike etc. We were very happy.

The hotel was not staffed when we arrived at normal check in time. In fact we were alerted to our key by another guest and didn't see hotel staff until next morning. The hotel itself was nice but our entry in to it was weird.
The breakfast next morning was good.
The hotel was not airconditioned and the overnight temperature was 25C. There was a small floor fan but it was a hot night.
Great location and in normal circumstances would be a good hotel to stay at.

Somewhat dated but comfortable hotel.
TV programme choice limited.Breakfast was adequate, but evening meal very good but priced accordingly.
Accepting difficulties for Coronavirus protection, service was minimal,room cleaning and houskeeping virtually suspended.
Despite super location we felt hotel was disapointing.

The room and accommodations were amazing but be prepared for lots of stairs and definitely not for Lightsleepers as there is a train roughly every hour throughout the night that comes roaring by to keep you awake.

This small hotel backs up to train tracks so, like other reviewers have mentioned, if the occasional rumble bothers you, then you might look elsewhere. I didn't mind it. Breakfast was very good, and dinner even better. The staff are friendly and there is enough English spoken to not be an issue for an English-only traveler. The local area is quite beautiful with great hiking, river cruising, a small deer park, and views of castles.

We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely stay in a fantastic, family-owned and operated local hotel. The owners were present and were extremely helpful to us from beginning to end. They went above and beyond in helping us get a ferry to the nearby castle, and to determine an itinerary to see both the castle and nearby Christmas Market, including making phone calls to confirm availability. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast filling. I highly recommend a stay here!
