Perfectly fine hotel close to the train station and with in walking distance to many amenities ( bakery, grocery, restaurants). The breakfast offered was a very basic continental that didn't seem worth the 15 Euro, so we passed. The rooms are kinda weird with a shower that divides the room while being right next to the bed. Bed was fine, air worked well, rooms were quiet, perfectly fine for a couple nights.

Good budget hotel. Enough room in the open air car park for our van with in out privileges with the ticket. There was a spacious lobby and a lift. The rooms were clean and basic, the toilet was separate to the shower & sink which were in the room - sounds odd but worked fine, the shower was excellent. The bed was hard and could do with more pillows. Our rooms backed onto the car park & railway which was very loud when the window was open, not sure how hot the room would be with the window closed in the summer.

Staff was pleasant and check in easy. It’s a Ibis budget and checks those boxes, room clean and efficient; bed feels like a futon and pillow is small with not much cushion. But clean, good shower and considering next to train station quiet. Also AC worked to a degree. Chose because had early train next day and met needs. Bus to center a block away.

I do understand this is a Budget Hotel with small rooms which is fine. However the first room's toilet seat was full of a crusty yellow substance. Impossible to overlook. After the check in process was almost completed we were notified of the non working wifi. Listing showed "Free Wifi included" although the reception told us it had been not working since Aug 19th. We stayed the 28th. Hotel refuses to offer partial refund even though they were advertising free wifi. If the internet provider cant fix your internet, you can't continue advertising free wifi included and expect the guests to pay the full rate expecting wifi to be there. Not recommended!

The rooms are small but well-designed to make best use of the space…it’s ok if you don’t plan to spend much time at the hotel but if you want a romantic getaway, go somewhere else! Breakfast buffet is OK and you’re 15 minutes walk from the old centre where there are plenty of bars, coffee shops and restaurants. It’s a really beautiful city in spring & summer…

Convenient location a few minutes walk from HBF. AC was not functional so it was quite warm inside. Did not receive new towels or daily service each day. Trains passing can be loud even with window closed making it difficult to sleep.
