Hotel is only a few years old, very nice, clean, excellent service and secure bike storage. Outstanding big breakfast.

If you are visiting Sigmaringen this is where you have to stay. Beautifully renovated hotel with the best views of the castle. Staff is welcoming and helpful, nice breakfast, spacious, pretty and modern rooms with A/C. Front desk offered a candy bar to guests and mini ice creams at check-in. But the terrasse with views of the castle steal the show. Must stay!

Unser Aufenthalt in Karls Hotel in Sigmaringen war nahezu perfekt. - Einziger Wermutstropfen: Man würde sich für die Unterbringung der Kleider mehr Platz (zB. einen Schrank) wünschen.

Staff was great! But our room was extremely hot. The air conditioning was set as cold as it could go, but the air doesn't circulate in the room. We had to wake up several times during the night to open the windows to cool things off. Then shut them so we could sleep because the traffic noise was too much with the windows open. Had to do thjs several times to be able to get any rest. Otherwise, breakfast was nice and the area was safe.

Best location for visit Castle

Four year old hotel, clean and airy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Only breakfast on site during our stay but restaurants are a short walk. No fridge, tea/ coffee, kettle or ironing facilities in the room but all available from reception. Parking when staying is free. Expedia says it has an 80" TV but it's probably 80cm, poor soundproofing from adjoining doors and due to hard wood floors you can hear footsteps and furniture moving in other rooms. Over all a good stay though and would return.

Ich hatte ausführlichen chat mit Euch. Es wurden drei Übernachtungen abgebucht. Obwohl 2 nur zwei Buchungen gibt. Wurde mir auch vom Hotel bestätigt. Ich werde es nicht akzeptieren und wenn keine Rückvergütung erfolgt bin ich kein Kunde mehr, Werde alles stornieren und auch Visa verständigen

This hotel is absolutely perfect, the complete Danube river side of the hotel looks right at the Hohenzollern Castle, which is so beautiful!! Everything in the rooms worked, breakfast was delicious and abundant, you will not leave hungry for sure. Staff is so nice and friendly, we definitely come back for another short trip. They have a restaurant as well that Has a wonderful menu.

They wouldn't refund me after I got COVID, due to booking a deal through Hotels.com. Then they asked me for a review!

The room from furnishings / setup and the view was amazing. Very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Convenient walk to the castle / town.

If you get the chance to visit Sigmaringen (whether to visit the castle, the Donautal (Donau valley) or some other reason), Karl’s is THE place to stay! Highly recommend!

We stayed here because of the location - walking distance to train station, restaurants, and grocery store, and best of all, it was directly in front of the Sigmaringen Castle and right on the Danube River. But once we got there, there were so many perks that made the location the least of our reasons for wanting to return in the future. The room was comfortable and nice; the breakfast had a large, delicious variety of foods and it was free - we ate in view of the beautiful castle and the swans swimming in the Danube; and the front desk staff, both for check-in and check-out, were extremely welcoming and helpful. We had accidentally left our US-European power adapter on one of the trains, so we asked if they knew where we could buy another. Instead, she produced one from the back and let us borrow it for the night, no charge. When we checked out, they asked if we would like discount tickets for the castle, and, when I asked if the castle had lockers for our luggage, they suggested we just leave them at their desk, even though we had already checked out. I felt that at every moment, they were going out of their way to make us more comfortable and help save us money.
